    Cas was pretty bad-ass even sans powers in late season 5. I'm glad they remembered that.

    I'm definitely not a fan of the promo I saw last night. It made it look like it was all Castel. I don't mind a Castiel or Kevin heavy episode now and again, it will give the brothers a break. But it should be 7 episodes in, not 3. That is what killed me about all of the Sam empty episodes (In the Beginning, The End, Weekend at Bobby's, etc)... They happened so blanking early in the season! I have waited so long to see Sam and Dean, then nothing... Hopefully this isn't too Winchester lite.

    I'm not gonna avoid it because my family gets together for Supernatural night every time there is a new episode, but if the only Winchesters I see are two minutes here and there with Dean on the phone to Castiel, it will be another episode like Bitten that gets deleted from my iTunes set never to get played again.

    Never sure if I'm in the minority, but I'm really looking forward to next week's episode. I'm not concerned that it could be "Winchester lite", which is what everyone jumps to when Sam and Dean aren't in every single frame of a promo - so they found a theme that made for a nice promo, it doesn't promise the content for the entirety of an episode - and I can't wait to see how Cas continues to handle his humanity. I'm glad they haven't forgotten that he has the mind of a warrior, so a pesky case of the human isn't going to stop him from trying to fight. I'm always happy to look deeper into a recurring character, and Misha is a regular this season... so why not get to know him a bit more?
