The CW will take all the good news it can get. I'm sure the network is extremely pleased that even after moving both of these shows to a tougher night of TV competition that The Originals only dropped a tenth of a point from its premiere (and can stand on its own without a lead-in) and that SPN performed even better than it did behind Arrow.
ReplyDeleteTHIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! Go Supernatural :D :D <3 <3 We are THE BEST!!!
ReplyDeleteGood going! I know it doesn't really matter, but I'm interested to see the twitter ratings when they come out. That trendr website said that Supernatural was the most tweeted about show of the night which is promising.
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad for them. Those were two very solid episodes :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly I dont think they will air Whose Line mid season but I just thought it would be better to have originals in all slots for the whole season rather than leaving one hour for repeats. I definately do think Beauty will be booted to Friday mid season and one of the two new dramas moving into the Monday 8pm slot with HOD moving to 9. That seems like the most logical and realistic line up to me.
ReplyDelete8 seasons behind? No problem, right? :) If you do indeed start watching (which yay!) then I hope you enjoy it! It's a really emotional and absolutely great show.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for The Originals, yeah, I want Elijah back too;)
Congratulations SPN,can't imagine not getting my Sam and Dean weekly fix.Hope they are on another 10 yrs.As for The Originals,I'm in love.So happy they're getting higher ratings.Just don't lk Marcel, his voice grates my nerves lk nails down a chalk board!Cant wait for Klaus to kill him and his little witch.
ReplyDeleteHey there,season 10!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I need to catch up mid season 6 onward of Supernatural, but as someone who's loved it since it was announced it was in the script stage in development at The WB, so glad 9 seasons in it's still a hit for its network. Soon as I post this I'm gonna turn Netflix on.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see SPN is doing so awesome.
ReplyDeleteVery happy to see this, I will always find Supernatural, no matter how many times they move it. ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW that is great news. Happy for SPN that more people watched it and had great rating keep it up we will get season 10 hope and pray.
ReplyDeleteLoved the second episode of The Originals! Hope it do very well next weeks!
ReplyDeleteone of these shows may yet be adjusted in finals (my guess would be SPN down/Originals up) but regardless those are still excellent numbers for SPN and solid for TO.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is come on Arrow and The Tomorrow People, fingers are crossed for some excellent numbers tonight. I'm predicting a 1.3 for Arrow and 1.3 for TTP.
Also TVD to go up a bit this week (1.3) and Reign when it does premier (have no idea when) to hit a 1.0.
Mid season line up prediction
Monday
8-Star Crossed
9-Hart of Dixie
Tuesday
8-The Originals
9-SPN
Wednesday
8-Arrow
9-TTP
Thursday
8-TVD
9-The 100
Friday
8-Whose Line
8.30-Whose Line
9-Beauty
Though I would actually shift HOD and Beauty to Friday at mid season and air Whose Line and Star Crossed on Monday.
wow...and there I was thinking they did bad last night, well I guess TOs full season pickup is a sure thing then ? Just remove the dagger and I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteAs for SPN....GOD even after 9 years it's still the networks BEST show around. Looks like I don't even have to seel my soul to Crowley for a tenth season then :D
Just kinda bummed about the whole Ezekiel/Sam thing, make the special snowflake into a special snowball. Meanwhile I love how non-special Cas has become, the character still showed us that the lines between good and evil are pretty wide when he killed Hael. Bring on the Cas spin-off (I know they won't make it but I'm in love with the idea) or at least have him in every episode...
I don't think that CW should air Whose Line? in the regular season, in summer the show is averaging a 0.9 (that is better than half of CWs shows during the season) and with that they have such a great promotional basis. They promoted the sh*t out of Reign and Arrow during Whose Line? and we have seen that Whose Line isn't strong enough to compete with "season-shows" (The season-finale only scored a 0.6 against NCIS, Shield and etc...).
ReplyDeleteThey would damage Whose Line, it could loose fans. CW should be happy about having a great summer show and it should stay that way...
I really need to start watching SPN only 8 seasons behind ;) Hopefully the Originals get Elijah back soon and keeps strong. Love this better then TVD atm. Hoping that CW will set my Wednesday as well with Arrow and The Tomorrow People.
ReplyDeleteI would say and against The Voice and NCIS:LA, but The Voice was a recap episode, so less competition. Next week will give us a better feeling for where we will settle in. However, I'm sure the CW is drawing a breath of relief. People found Supernatural on Tuesdays and followed it there, so it's a good start.
