Regina telling Tinkerbell to choose hope over anger..Loved that scene! As much as I love Evil Regina, this side of her is brilliant. Even the flashback scene where Rumple takes advantage of her vulnerable side and tells her the darkness likes her, great scene. The 'roast swan' dialogue cracked me up.
Regina and Emma talk about Tinkerbell & Operation Henry
Regina tells Tinkerbell to choose hope over anger
Mulan almost declared her love for Aurora
Those 4 scenes were all amazing but I still voted for Mulan/Aurora because this is such a big move from the writers! I've noticed the chemistry (last year) but never in a millions years I would have thought that they would go there! so good move A&E you do have some balls :p but I was very sad when I saw a lot of homophobic comments on the Ouat Facebook page and some other site.... :(
I'm a little conflicted about the scene. For me it kinda came out of nowhere but I like that they went there. I guess I just need to see more of what happened after Aurora got her heart back.
It was a nice moment. But with Neal being back on Neverland, I hope there won't be a love triangle betwen Emma/Hook/Neal, especially since Hook thinks of Neal as a sort-of-son. Gosh, the relationships on this show are just so weird.
You really should. It's the worst when the show is on hiatus, 90% of the posts consists of "When is the next episode airing?" It got obnoxious very fast and as soon as I found SpoilerTV, I left that page.
I get your point. For my part, I interpreted their relationship in different way when Aurora was kidnapped by Cora, the care that Mulan gave her and all that (And like you said, we have to wait to see what happened between 2x09-2x22). I'm not in the ship of Aurora being a LGTB character (I think she is completely straight) but for Mulan was different, maybe she is pansexual (she loves the heart first than an human body) or whatever, it doesn't care. The very first thing important in this twist is the tragedy in all this... Oh lord Cthulhu, I love ship tragedies!!
She did go to great lengths to save Aurora. Mulan put her life on the line for her by stealing the compass and was even willing to die but I always viewed Mulan as a very loyal warrior, so I didn't put much thought into it. I guess everybody interpreted it differently and that's what makes it all so beautiful. With all the buzz this has been getting, I do hope the show continues to show us this particular storyline.
Honestly, from what I noticed, just avoid the Facebook fanpages for whichever T.V. show you like! Most of the time it's full of negativity! Some exceptions, obviously, but those are rare!
The Mulan/Aurora scene, obviously! The only way that scene could have been better is if Phillip wasn't there to block them (Worst part being, he's NEVER around, we barely see him anyway! :p So they could go nasty behind his back and he'd never know! LOL). Sexual jokes aside, it was a beautiful scene, and a nice build-up, following their amazing chemistry throught the second season! Hopefully, that love story is not done yet! Hoping for a bisexual Aurora now! :)
Seriously that have some people that don't see the Mulan was totally go to declaring her love for Aurora in the moment? It was so obvious!!
"There’s someone I need to talk to before it’s too late."
“A loved one.”
“We shall see.”
Then, the look in her face when she saw Aurora. The twinkle in her eyes. And then, she say the she need to say something, and Aurora says: Should I call Phillip? And Mulan says: No, it's YOU that i want to talking about! there's no confusion or a second interpretation in the scene. Mulan is in love with Aurora.
I must say, the scene was so beautifu land i hope that this story is not over. Great episode!!
[...] there's no confusion or a second interpretation in the scene. Mulan is in love with Aurora.
People are not questioning whether or not Mulan loves Aurora but rather when she fell in love with her because for some viewers (me included) it sort of came out of no where. Many thought that Mulan was going to confess her love to Philip, so of course there was some confusion when it turned out it was actually Aurora.
Why? Why Neal had to be alive? The writters should have let him die after the gun shot (that by the way, since when you can recover from a gun shot in the guts by resting and sleeping? An arrow kills you, but a gun shot heals in half a day... only in OUAT). Or maybe they should just left him in FTL, and use him there to exploit another storyline. The whole idea of this season was Emma, Regina and the Charmings (and Rumple of course) rescuing their family (henry), but now Neil will arrive and save the day! He hasn't been a parent, or a lover (to Emma) in ages (or never for that matter). Emma and Regina are the parents. But since Neil will arrive and save the day, he will become the perfect parent and perfect lover in a second. Sometimes I don't like how the writers make the storylines. OUAT was all about empowering women, but now a woman can't do anything without her man. The only female character that was safe from this characterization was Regina, but now she fell into the stereotype with Hood as her new love. I like that Regina has the oportunity to have love again, but the idea of her only been capable of achieving a happy ending with a man seems too chauvinistic and also too forced on her. But whatever this is just my opinion.
Emma's magic will save Charming in my opinion. It would be fun to see the saviour save her own dad, like she has in the past saved her son. My favorite scene from the episode was Mulan and Aurora. I can't help but ship it now. (I also ship Aurora/Phillip, however, so I am really happy for the baby too).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Emma's magic wil save Charming and scene? Fearless Roland expecting Peter Pan's shadow. He was so cute.
ReplyDeleteRegina Calling Hook Emma's boyfriend
ReplyDeleteMulan and Aurora scene for me. It was so dramatic. I hope we will see more of this story, because I am so curious what will happen,..

SleepingWarrior scene all the way. I'm such a fangirl right now...
ReplyDeleteAnd what happened between episode 2x09 and 2x22
ReplyDeleteI would love it when Emma saves her dad with her magic.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I think saving her father's life with her magic would help her tremendously with accepting what she is.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little conflicted about the scene. For me it kinda came out of nowhere but I like that they went there. I guess I just need to see more of what happened after Aurora got her heart back.
ReplyDeleteYou should avoid the OuaT facebook page. I was a regular poster over there last season and most of comments are just cringeworthy.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great scene indeed. In my head, I had Snow popping out of nowhere and saying to Regina "Take your own advise!" LOL
ReplyDeleteI really hope we'll get to see how they got Philip's soul back.

I totally agree! That would be amazing! And I also think it would be her way of forgiving her parents for "abandoning" her as a baby. :D
