his was possibly the greatest episode of this show yet.
- Had to chuckle at bit at Skye complimenting Coulson on being a great judge of character because he took her in, considering what we know about the phone message. - The show keeps building up parts of the overarching mysteries and I LOVE it. The formula this episode, graviton, the organization behind it all, Skye Spy stuff, coulson mystery, etc - its all starting to come together.
- Everything in the episode just clicked right - the acting, the choreography, the cinematography - just brilliant.
Loved it. strong writing even in a self contained episode that dropped bits that may tie into an overlying mythology with the mysterious equation, as well as forwarding the mystery of Coulson - I'm convinced that he's either a clone or a life model decoy that I've heard is in the comics universe. Great dialogue writing continues and everyone in the cast got a chance to shine.
I loved the Pilot. Episode 2 was to me even better! Then episode 3, still better! And now this episode, the best so far! And I saw the promo for episode 5, that's gonna be pretty epic! This show keeps getting better every episode and I love it! :D My favorite part, for once, wasn't Melinda being badass (even thought that was awesome, as usual); it was the scene where Fitz and Simmons are operating on the woman to remove the fail-safe! Especcially Fitz, who seems like he wanted to puke! Hilarious!
Also, the little ''after-credit'' thing: Those are always so much fun, even thought they rarely add to the story! I like that they are doing those, and this one was the most pointless they did, yet really fun! Cheating Fitz and horny Skye = Loving it! :)
Me too. You just know that everyone is protesting but sooner or later it will be called that, by Ward, at a pivotal moment. Hopefully they won't keep relying on this miracle gun to solve all their problems though.
The mystery continues to get more and more mysterious. Interesting episode the question is who had that technology (by the way it may have something to do with the aliens from the new Thor movie or maybe even Asgardian technology), and what has happened to Coulson that changed him and that has everybody so mysterious about it.
Although Joss Whedon know to killing off beloved character, Clark Gregg stated that Whedon confirmed Coulson would survive the events of the film in The Avengers.
I just don't get why people are speculating Coulson is a clone now.
Loved this episode. Best bit? "Seduce him", easily :P
It was fun to see (and hear) from the capitol of my native country. The early scenes in Stockholm that is. I'd assume that they did actual on-location shooting for those scenes. Too many things to "fake" elsewhere or on a stage.
Liked this one much, much better than the previous one. Very cool scenes for all the characters and the case itself was interesting. Also, surprisingly, some good humor. And good twists overall. I wish they would make it more serialized though. And I feel they have room in the team to add one more character. I don't think we need the two sides of Fitz-Simmons, I would rather just have one and have a different character there. Anyway, quite happy with this and I hope it keeps improving and finding itself more and more.
Ward: ''Little bus out'' Coulson: ''Next time I pick what we name ourselves''
This show is classic Whedon and Co humor through and through! Best episode of the season thus far and yet another potential set-up episode for future Series Arc storylines. Just don't get all the hate given by certain comments on TVBTN :S:S
I enjoyed this episode. The premise and story were different from previous episodes, but it was still great. We don't have to save the world in every episode for it to be good. For the first time, I felt like the team was coming together and acting more like a team. The background hints and further developments for several characters added some needed depth. I liked all of the different combinations of team members interacting. For example, Fitz-Simmons and Skye in the van was hilarious; Skye's scenes with Coulson have more depth; the poker playing/cheating with Fitz?, Skye, and Ward was also funny, etc. This was also the first episode where I didn't hate Ward, or his interactions with Skye. Ward and Skye seem to be working together better (tip: just please stop forcing a romance and stick to team-building). I also enjoyed the dialogue, funny moments, badass May, the cool eye tech, and all of the other action sequences. I hope the show keeps improving and working out more of their issues. This episode showed that they seem to be learning, and starting to fix, what works or doesn't.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

I demand that it continue to be called the Night Night Gun! If you have problems with the name, just call it the NNG.

ReplyDeleteOh my God, I have not laughed so hard at a moment on a show since season three of Community.
I did not laugh that much at that as much as at Grant's silent wimper-y "heeeelp" that followed.

ReplyDeleteI laughed my ass off on the when Coulson said he picks the the names next time lol
