    We're already learning about Alex's past! He's my favorite and I've been waiting for this storyline for years so I'm so excited right now!



    And I love that we now know Karev is Alex's mother's maiden name. Awesome!

    Alex does need someone. But not Jo. There's no chemistry between the actors and the story is contrived. I don't find her past credible. But I love Alex so I hope they develop the story well :)

    I actually really don't mind Jo. I was rooting for Callie / Alex way-back-when but obviously that will never happen. Alex needs someone, everyone else has someone - and the more we get of him the better. I disliked Jo at first but I've warmed up to her.. certainly much more than to Leah or Stefanie both of whom I really don't like. I also don't think we'd be getting this storyline with his dad if it weren't for Jo, but who knows.

    This is the most excited I've been for a storyline on Grey's in a long time. I've been waiting since Izzie left to meet more of Alex's family, and his bro was just a one-off, James Remar is gunna be great in this role and Justin Chambers is really awesome and underrated.
