    This prank goes way back. I think it was first used in a 50s rom-com called Roman Holiday.

    Originally done in Roman Holiday (early 50s) with a very Young Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Other movies have been copying the scene ever since.

    Yes you are correct but I was only talking about Disney properties which both the movie National Treasure 2 and ABC's Castle are parts.
