Ep 2/13
Saturday 5 October
8.25-9.10pm
BBC ONE
Despite their newfound fame after slaying the Minotaur, the boys are still penniless and hungry. When an old man asks them to find his missing daughter things seem on the up, but it soon becomes clear that their task isn't going to be an easy one: she has been taken by the Maenads, fanatical worshippers of the god Dionysus.
With the hopes and life of the old man fading, it’s a race against time that Jason cannot turn his back on. But just when their perilous task seems at an end, he comes face-to-face with a stranger named Medusa.
With Mark Addy, Robert Emms, Jemima Rooper and guest starring Frances Tomelty.

Please forgive my ignorance but do we know why the boys have no money and have to go hungry?
ReplyDeletewhat the episode, but its basically a comment on their predicament that episode. I'm sure before Jason came along they the duo did odd jobs to survive monthly. and with Jason now and new found heroism, they took on the job of guarding goods of a wealthy merchant, but Hercules fell asleep with their money and in the morning found the good stolen as well as the money. AKA penniless and hungry, tho I would say the Hungry was added to show the situation but they would not really go hungry when they own a home, well Hercules does, so they must be doing something right..
