ReplyDeleteI don't watch a ton of television. I am picky. I have actresses and actors I like and I usually follow them. I had one or two here or there. In my opinion, it's katie Cassidy of Arrow.

ReplyDeleteThat always happens.A couple of years ago it was SPN,now its Castle tomorrow it will probably be BATB,unless one of the new fall shows is a break out hit.. It does get a little tiresome when people keep voting just for that reason.I don't think they realize its also turns some people off to the show...

ReplyDeleteI hear you.Its too bad to,Castle is a good/funny show.Half the time i don't comment about it because most of the comments are about how pretty she looked or they are swooning over it,so i don't bother.Don't let it stop you from checking it out. I don't know where you live but on the east coast in the U.S. they show Castle on TNT everyday in the afternoon and early evening..

I'm surprised that Lana Parrilla isn't in this poll if Jennifer Morrison is. Not that Jennifer Morrison isn't an attractive woman, but her character isn't given a glamorous look the way Lana Parrilla's is.

ReplyDeleteI don't know half of these actresses to be honest. I voted for Emily VanCamp, Evangeline Lilly and "Other" - Maggie Q from Nikita who I find stunning (her co-star Lyndsy Fonseca is also very beautiful). Connie Britton, Sofia Vergara and Lucy Liu get an honorable mention.

ReplyDeleteFrom the choices, I ended up choosing Cobie Smulders, Sophia Bush, and Other, since I could think of at least two other actresses that are better looking than most of the rest of the group in this poll. But, it's all fairly subjective I guess, with majority (of the buying public, not this poll) winning out. Fun poll nonetheless though. Thanks for contributing this poll!

When I was watching Angel I had a major crush on Amy Acker, so I will say Amy Acker, who I know is starring on Person of Interest, a show I should catch up on.
ReplyDeleteI will also mention Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood), Emilia Clarke (GoT), Rachida Jones (Parks & Rec), Fiona Gubelman (Wilfred), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Karen Gillan (NTSF:SD:SUV), Emmy Rossum (Shameless), Shannon Woodward (Raising Hope), Alison Williams (Girls), Kristen Bell (House of Lies), Claire Danes (Homeland), Lizzy Kaplan (Masters of Sex - watch this show, btw).
There are so many of them, it's like Hollywood is only hiring beautiful actresses... noooooo.
I've been watching Sleepy Hollow 1.01 & 1.02 today and Nicole Beharie certainly looks quite nice.
Yvonne Strahovski's character on Dexter contributed to making me hate the show so much that I don't even think of her as good-looking anymore :D. Madison Burge, on the other hand, while useless (she played Masuka's daughter), did not make me loathe season 8, and looks pretty good too.
And let's not forget Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Lily on Modern Family), obviously :) :D.
Come on no matter how much you hate Hannah you can't not think she's not attractive. Also Claire Danes? I don't get that one at all.
ReplyDeleteI was joking about Yvonne not being attractive because of much hatred I have for her character and what she's done to the show — though I hate those lazy writers, first and foremost.
ReplyDeleteBut I think Claire Danes does look great. I mean, she's not a model-type like Yvonne, but I like her. She surely doesn't get to have a lot of make-up on Homeland, and given the nature of her character it's not often she gets to look attractive, but I think she's beautiful : http://uppix.net/5h54bU.png
I don't think she's unattractive, but it's like Kaley Cuoco for me. I see why some people find them really hot, but I just don't. And yes you should hate those writers and Scott Buck for what they did.

ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that you would not watch a show because of the fans. In the end, you'd miss a great show. I'm not even talking about Castle- which is my fav show at the moment let's put it out- but if this happened to you with Castle, it can happen to you with another show and at some point you're going to miss something you'll probably love. I'd say try to avoid certain webs or try reading things with an open mind and don't judge till you've watched it. I used to criticize Doctor Who cause one day i saw a random episode on tv and i thought it was bad. Now i've watched the whole 7 seven new seasons and I loved them!! I'm a complete whovian now. So yeah, try the shows you want to try and forget about everyone out there. It's for the better! :) (and i wish you'd give Castle a shot!!)

ReplyDeleteSeriously? "Castle" is THE BEST TV show right now and my advice is, don't pay attention to the fans (majority of them are annoying teenagers in recent 2 years, it was completely different earlier) and simply enjoy a great and funny show. With phenomenal acting from yes, Stana Katic :)
ReplyDeleteI voted for Stana Katic, but that doesn't mean any of the actresses on this list aren't attractive. Just because one actress has immense lead, doesn't give you the right to hate on her. What if the actress you like had that lead and everyone started bashing her because of it? How would you feel?

I think that's because Castle used to be an underrated show (not anymore though), and that Stana is not really THAT well-known actress, so we were just trying to uplift them, and then it continues until now. So please don't say we're "rabid". hahaha
