I would be up for 1 season in 1 day, but my boyfriend wouldn´t be happy with me...so usually I have to settle for 3 days :D But it depends on the show.
Well if its like 13 episode seasons then yeah easily done in a day. I remember watching the first two seasons plus mini series of BSG in a weekend and then like crying because the wait for S3 was 2 months!
It was when I'd first gotten into Supernatural. It was right before Season 3, I had bought both Season 1 and 2.
I'd seen most of Season 2 but had yet to see Season 1 (besides the finale Devil's Trap) so the first night I watched half of Season 1 and the next day I watched the rest of Season 1 and then watched Season 2 again (since I hadn't seen all the episodes and wanted to re-watch before the new season).
1 season in 2 days, but on the second day I would almost finish or had with another season. A good example is SPN. The hellatus is a annoying thing and I literally watched all the seasons under two weeks :)
1 season in one day - HIMYM. Loved the first few seasons and finished them each season per day, because I started watching when it was in its fourth season.
1 season in 2 days - WAY TOO MANY! Elementary, Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, 24, The Vampire Diaries to name a few.
2 days to get through a season of 24. I also managed to get through 15 Nikita episodes in a day (there were no more to catch up on after that). I could probably get through a whole season of FRIENDS if I tried.
Friends, Buffy and other shows in two weeks (not the same ones, obviously). I've watched up to 35 episodes (of 42 minutes each) of a show without sleep. I don't need much sleep, so that makes it easy with shows whose episodes can be watched in quantity without making your head spin! ;)
I can frequently watch multiple seasons of MASH in one day, its just such a awesome, timeless show. Also when House of Cards came out I marathoned those episodes over the course of 2 days. No regrets.
there has been summers during my school days, where i would do full summer long marathons of catch up on lots of tv shows and anime/ one of the longer ones was catching up to 7 season of 24 before 8 started, was like a week or so with only a couple of hour sleep each time, while in the anime realm it was one piece which had over 340 episodes when i started catching up. but yea my summers are hell of a lot of non stop marathons.
Kind of depends on the show. If it has limited episodes per season, I can do more than one season per day. Same with comedies. For standard episode shows it usually takes me 2-3 days.
The longest one I did was for Supernatural. A friend of mine was watching it, and he kept badgering me to watch it until I finally relented and, since I had nothing to do for a couple of weeks, decided to give it a chance (but mostly because I was sure I wouldn't watch it past the first few episodes anyway.) The 6th season was going on when I started watching it, so, over a hundred episodes to watch. I think I caught up to all the episodes in slightly over a week! It was crazy. The show just clicked with me instantly and I kept watching. It took more than a week like I said, but I don't regret it one bit. :D
during november/december last year, i saw one tree hill seasons 1-9 within a month, and season 4 of OTH within one day. it depends on the show and the level of interestingness. normally i'd probably binge and watch a serialised drama rather than a procedual drama.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Haha I've watched multiple seasons in a day :)
