    I think the reason would be to get the New Orleans vamps to choose Klaus as leader not out of fear but because they want to since Marcel is a jack*ss?

    I don't believe, at least initially, that this is a motivating factor because in the backdoor pilot Klaus directly poses the question as to why he can't simply kill him right then and there.

    Damn, Marcel cold as ice. I liked this clip. It makes Marcel out to be a good villain. Two bad guys fighting over a throne. The Originals will be great! I'm also interested in how the baby plot turns out.

    The reason given in the backdoor pilot was a vague answer about witch business and a plan they have in place but when they finally detail the reason why it had better make some sense.

    Well good thing everybody doesn't think like that. If we waited for the show to be renewed to start watching then the show wouldn't get renew.

    i personally don't own a tv, watch stuff online netflix and hulu, and show sites, and for almost all the cw shows i watch i play the episode fully on mute to give view count. idk if that helps but been doing it for 2 years now. since i put tvd on hold.
