  1. May have been refreshing Spoiler TV for the last hour or so waiting for the SHIELD ratings ;) 4.9 is very good hope it translates well nationally.

  2. Wow this is really high.

  3. Love the ratings for SHIELD. I knew Lucky 7 would flop. It looks so uninteresting.

  4. What do these numbers mean? Not from the US :)

  5. Im griping everywhere about the fact that my local station broke in at the start of Shield with a news update! After all the hype they buggered the show at a crucial part with a stupid story they could have run across the bottom of the screen! I'm not a happy bunny!

  6. 4.9% OF adults between 18-49 in the sample areas watched agents of shield 1.3% watched lucky 7

  7. early renewal for SHIELD? I hope so!

Lucky 7 will be canned for sure! Mind Games will probably replace it, I'm guessing, but POI will beat it too...

  8. WOW! That is HUGE for Agents of SHIELD!

  9. definitely impressed about SHIELD's numbers. hope they last the season.

i'm tipping that both hostages and lucky seven will be gone before november (if ratings keep going like this). Also calling it- Blacklist, Sleepy Hollow and SHIELD will be renewed by the end of the year...

  10. Not surprised about Agents of SHIELD. Literally the most anticipated show of the year.

  11. I read somewhere that Sleepy Hollow had the biggest opening for any Fox show in six years.

  12. Looks like Dads is Seth MacFarlane's first flop with FOX.

  13. wow that's pretty good. fox definitely is stepping up its game this tv season. hope almost human, rake and gang related are just as good...

  14. That's so awesome for SHIELD! I sure hope it will hold!

  15. Omg I read the title and thought it said "Agents of SHIELD flops with a 1.3", thank god it didn't :)

  16. Fall show. Touch premiered in the 4's but started in the Spring

  17. Some are saying Almost Human is DOA which I find hard to believe..

    ReplyDelete
  18. LOL! So much for being to 'optimistic' over at TVBTN then, wouldn't you say? I post their on occasion too.

  19. I think you mean pick up, It can be renewed yet since it hasn't even been picked up for the whole season but then again, anything is possible

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yes IKR! This show was obviously gonna premiere in the mid to high 4's with it's hype and following. There's no such thing as too optimistic in the TV world as shows can go either way!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yup! Just can't wait to rub the 'naysayers' posters' faces in it :P

  22. Think they will wait till episode 5 or 6 and see how its doing then before picking up a back 9 episode order. Shows can premiere huge and still flop the next week, hoping it won't!

  23. Even tvwithout pity are being optimistic :)

Thanks to lowered expectations, we found #AgentsOfSHIELD to be a fun comic book of a show; nothing more, nothing less http://ht.ly/pcfrP

  24. Holy crap, that is amazing for S.H.I.E.L.D. Has any scripted show in recent memory scored that high, except for The Big Bang Theory? Of course we have to see how stable ratings are over the next few weeks, but in and of itself, that's a mind-blowing number. I guess the massive promotional campaign worked. And really, given what must be an extremely high budget (for TV), this show is going to need *very* good ratings.

  25. I'll cry is Almost Human flops.

  26. It wouldn't be his first it would be his second or third actually. The Winner and The Pitts, although he was just an exec producer on the latter, I think.

  27. well when I was on wikipedia the other day it said that SHIELD already has 22 episodes- here's the link: http://au.ign.com/articles/2013/09/24/5-reasons-were-excited-for-marvels-agents-of-shield

but... it's taken down now, so it may not be official, just speculation though. In any case, I think before the year's end, Shield will have the back 9 as well as the announcement of renewal!
