    This is my very first comment on this website but I just got through watching the season premiere of SVU and this was by far one of the best two hours of television I have seen in a long time. Mariska's performance was a masterpiece and that does not even do it justice. Benson has always been a rock and kept her the pain of her past hidden for the most part. It was both heartbreaking, terrifying and empowering to watch her go through such a living nightmare. I kind of abandoned the show after Chris Meloni left but watched it last season and of course this season I will totally be glued. There is a reason why Mariska is the highest paid actress on TV because she pours ounce of her into her performances.
