Yeah, this posters are just crappy, no other way of putting it (jarring monochromatic palette, overwhelming text, questionable framing, cheesy message) . It is really sad that they are better than the previous ones.
Not bad, but I could really do without the cheesy quotes. Plus - and this might just be because I'm a guy - but can't they put a little more action into them? From what we know so far, it sounds like there will be a lot of excitement this season, so I'd like to see our heroes looking a bit more...heroic.
I guess I'm being overly critical. Still, I stand by my criticism of the text. Very maudlin.
The phrases get worse from poster to poster to be honest. This one is easily the cheesiest so far. At least they didn't pick "will always find" his family. The picture is not bad, but is it just me or does it look like he's floating above the water?
Where is poster with Peter Pan and slogan (something like) "Belive that one of the most not apparent boy could be your worst enemy"? THAT could be awsome! Sorry if my english is bad.
I think one of the only reasons there using the believe catchphrases since its a big theme of Peter Pan, believing in something, to keep the fairies alive, lol. But the posters are still better than the Photoshoot for this season, it's such a fantastical show, I think it might just be too expensive to do anything else, I mean some episodes have not been well animated like the Jack and the Beanstalk episode 'tiny' but at least they have the Jolly Roger!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Nice shot of David! I like it.
ReplyDeletehorrible poster
ReplyDeleteCheap catchphrase
