I wish they just go camp all the way, but it just feels they are taking it seriously; and it just doesn't work (tho I kinda like the pose but damn, Lana's head looks huge)
I'm biased cause I like Regina, but I still don't LOVE it. It is significantly better than the others, but it could be much better. I've seen more interesting fanart on tumblr, for sure.
It seems we can't have better yes bit I kinda like it so I'm ok. Fans yes can do much better but it´s the case everywhere. Complaining too much made me realize that we are not the only one who have average pictures.
While I don't think the poster is THAT bad, I still wouldn't put the poster on my wall :/ I think last years posters were better, but heck. Any picture of Regina is good for me! :) I'm looking forward to some Belle and Bandit Snow posters *fingers crossed*
Well we should be getting Indians anyways, as Tiger Lily is a female Native American-esque character in Peter Pan.
From wiki: "Tiger Lily is the princess of the Tribe of Native Americans living on the island of Neverland. Tiger Lily is nearly killed by Captain Hook when she is seen boarding the Jolly Roger with a knife in her mouth, but Peter saves her. In the earlier versions of Peter Pan, it is assumed that she disapproves of Wendy and even Tinker Bell at one point because of her envy as she is believed to have once had romantic feelings for Peter Pan.
In the Disney version, Tiger Lily is kidnapped by Captain Hook and Smee. Hook threatens to kill her if she does not tell him Peter's hiding place. Save for a brief call for help (although her cry is muffled by water as she sinks) she is silent during the entire movie, refusing to betray Peter. She is saved by Peter and he takes her to her tribe. During the celebration of her return, Tiger Lily shows her affection towards Peter. At first, Peter watches Tiger Lily dance, then Tiger Lily jumps down and gives Peter a kiss. This turns Peter bright red. Then they dance together, which makes Wendy very jealous. Canadian actress Corinne Orr voiced Tiger Lily's only line (albeit in an uncredited, early role)."
I'd love to see Tiger Lily in this show and have her be one Peter Pan's loyal followers, though I don't think they're going to bring her into the story. I'd love to see Pocahontas too, but would they use her seeing as she's based of a real story?
I don't know.... I know they did this because they want to make it simple, but I was disappointed that Alice is not from The Land Without Magic's past: Victorian Londan, but instead a "victorian" reality that is running parallel! I think because James Barrie gave them leadway with Native Americans living in Neverland, along with golden age Pirates, they probsbly could add Pocohanas and gang into the mix...
I think before they introduce anyone else they should concentrate on the core group plus Belle & Hook.. They keep introducing new characters, spreading themselves thinner each season.Reminds me of a watered down version of what the show once was..
Well, ya. I generally agree, I just mean towards mid/end of the season because there is potential to add Poca to the mix, because I'm sure we will meet Tiger Lily, but I also think we need lots of characters, especially flashback characters, to keep the ball rolling otherwise it could get stale. The key is to use them as secondary and thirdary characters, be willing to kill some of them off before making them the focal point.
I didn't mean it the way it came out..sorry,i'm tired. Yes,we need a few new characters to keep it fresh. But as you said we haven't found out who/what 'The Home Office' is and how many are involved.
Your so right! They are horrible with there time management, they have no idea how to keep these characters in play...like in LOST!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I like it. Way better than hook but I'd still like Rumple or one of the swans on a poster.
ReplyDeleteI cant get over how tacky and jarring that font and annoyingly large tagline is.
ReplyDeleteBetter than the last ones - but still not perfect.
ReplyDeleteI wish they just go camp all the way, but it just feels they are taking it seriously; and it just doesn't work (tho I kinda like the pose but damn, Lana's head looks huge)
ReplyDeleteI wonder why she has feathers in her hair?
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe these are for real...they just really look fan made not too mention photoshopped to hell.
