There is honestly so much that can happen and I have no idea how it'll all go down. But damn I really hope Walt gets to take down Jack and his crew, as well as Elliot and Gretchen. Never considered the latter 2 as targets, but I kinda am with Walt on being pissed at them. And this is all for a man that I hope goes down...
Let Walt redeem himself a little. Kill Jack and his crew, poison Elliot and Gretchen with the Ricin, and go down in a blaze of glory.
Oh and let Jesse live! Someone's gotta raise Brock!
This promo is better than all of the other shows out there... The writing and acting on this show is something perfect... It will be a long before TV gets another show like this!
I want Walt to kill Jack and the gang except for Todd(Jesse has to kill him...). Then Walt releases Jesse and gives him the choice to let him, Walt, live or die... Jesse then lives him to die alone and in pain from his Cancer. He goes and raises Brock(If he became a DEA agent would be so much cliché... You know, the next Hank.)
Idk about Elliot and Gretchen... It's a very understandable position; marketing is a powerfull thing and a bad one is something that could kill a company. Walt is bad marketing for them, so they need to adress that... I think that scene was not to motivate Walt to follow a vendetta against Grey Matter but to understand that Walter White is dead... He has become Heisenberg... And as the monster he is, he needs to put himself together and kill Jacky Boy!
Wasn't that just the scene from tonight where Walt tries to threaten him with "We're over when..." then starts coughing up a storm. Then Saul says "It's over." You can see the barrel of cash and the pad Walt was writing on if you pause it there.
Eliot and Gretchen have to protect themselves. I don't blame them at all -- maybe there's something huge there. The entire reason Walter left Gray Matter in the first place? Maybe it's so deeply damaging that his rage towards them would be justified. We really don't know. All we know is he sold his stake for 5Gs to cover rent and he seems to believe that they made millions off his knowledge and work, and then conspired to cut him out. Maybe that's all. He's prideful and he just saw them drag his entire life through the mud and he can't let that be for nothing.
I have to think he's going there first. If he goes after Jack and co., I don't think he stands a chance. Then again, there's a lot on the table. It should be memorable.
Just read up on it! Gilligan's clue, woodworking. It's from the episode Kafkaesque, when Jesse talks about his woodworking class, and his teacher asks him, "Is this the best you can do?" Then Jesse went and built a better box. So now we know. Jesse's going to build a better box, metaphorically. Wow!
Walter will use the guns to take down Todd, his uncle and his men. Jesse will get rescued, and become a fugitive. until he gets caught by the cops and convicted for his crimes. With Jesse caught, skylar will get an easier sentence, 5-10 years. aunt Marie will take care of the kids till then. Nothing will happen to Elliot and Gretchen. Walter will use the ricin on himself.
Good point, I would really enjoy Jesse getting to kill Todd. I'm worried about the possible foreshadowing of Jesse going out in an explosion (since half of his face was scarred and beaten, similar to Gus)... but if he can do that and take out a bunch of Jack's crew, Todd most especially, that would lessen the blow.
And another good point. I think my initial thoughts on Elliot and Gretchen clouded my judgment on what that scene meant. I'm thinking you're right that scene just got Walt to accept that Walter White is dead... and Heisenberg needs to take control one last time.
This promo left me feeling so sad, god, I´m gonna miss this show. It is so damn fantastic.
I really really hope Jesse and Brock survives and I hope Skylar get´s off easy. But to be honest I have no idea what will happend, and I love it! Can´t wait to see how it is gonna end for Walt and Jesse, I am sure the writers have thought of a brilliant way for it all to end.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OH FUCK ... this is serious business now. I got goose bumps just watching that. Dayum. That's how you set up a finale.

And what of the shot of Saul dressed is all white in the promo? Was he in a cell of sorts?
ReplyDeleteEven though there is no new footage that trailer was incredible.
ReplyDeleteThe end is near :/

ReplyDeleteJunip (Jose Gonzalez). Line of Fire. Perfect song for this finale trailer.
ReplyDeleteThe best series ever. I don't care what anyone says it's the best show ever.

Omg! I am gonna re watch this every single day of the week until sunday! I cant believe we reached the final episode! Best series ever
ReplyDeleteAnd woodworking. Vince Gilligan's clue for the finale. He said, "Think woodworking." I have no idea either.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if Huell is still in the safehouse...
ReplyDeleteThere's no TV and everybody involved are either dead or ran off. Nobody to tell him it's okay to come out now :D
I'm gonna cry. No matter what happens, I'm absolutely sure I'm gonna cry.
ReplyDeleteOh thanks for that was trying to find out who did the song.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Jose Gonzalez solo (or in this case, with his band, Junip) ... his music often shows up on television. Brilliant.

State Farm Insurance hijacked this video. Bastards.
