VINCENT AND CATHERINE REUNITE, BUT VINCENT HAS CHANGED — Three months after Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan) was abducted by Muirfield, Detective Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk), is reunited with him - but not in the way she planned. He’s changed: his scar has disappeared, his memory has been wiped clean and he returns as a supercharged beast on a mysterious mission. Catherine needs to unravel the reasons behind Vincent’s change if she has any hopes of recovering their epic love, while also trying to solve the secrets that swirl around her own life. Also starring Nina Lisandrello, Austin Basis and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Brad Kern (#201).

ReplyDeleteI enjoy romance as much as the next hopeless romantic, but seriously they need to tone it down a notch. I want to watch a TV show, not a teenage girl's fanfiction.
ReplyDeleteI kinda enjoy it, I don't get it in any other tv show and frankly more than one show like this would be too much, but in this measure I kinda enjoy the 'helpless romantic' feel!

ReplyDeleteWhile my heart cried....the best part of this will be that we'll have them falling in love again ... His memory slowly coming back of his Catherine---will be sweet to watch...amongst the many heart breaks that awaits us.

ReplyDeleteI get lost in all my shows, but this is like my guilty pleasure. I normally can't stand romance in anything, TV, books, I don't ship anyone ever.... so Beauty & The Beast (both the original eighties show and now this version) has been the only vaguely romantic thing I can stand! Love it. Bring on the sap! :D
ReplyDeleteI think it will be torture to watch but am confident that all will end well, with some great romantic moments to savour! Better to have a season 2 than none at all so am looking forward to all it will bring!

ReplyDeleteHeh, dedication to your ships is good! So cool that you watched the original too... did you decide to disregard the final season or not? I watched it and enjoyed some of it, but decided to consider it an alternate reality in my head. :D
ReplyDeleteThe final season was a nightmare, that's a great way of looking at it as an alternate ending, but when Linda Hamilton left that was all she wrote for me:(:(

ReplyDeleteIndeed it was, as I mentioned I get to invested in my ships and the way they twisted the hold story just made me run, I didn't like it when they brought in a new Beauty,and had the nerve to kill Catherine, you know I was out!!!:(

ReplyDeleteProbably it was too much damage for Jay's skin, but I'm with you, I kind of liked the scar too, it was somehow a connection to Cat, the reminder of that heroic act that saved her mother life.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy their romance. It seems like on other shows couples are apart for so long and we hardly get to see them together. I hope its not like that on this show.
No spoilers but just watched the episode, enjoyed it a lot! I somehow did not read this release and didn't know that he wouldn't remember!! Can't wait for next week!
