    This will be an excellent experiment. They introduced Lori to the
    show, people whined. They made Cath a regular, people whined. How about
    we see if it’s only new FEMALE characters that people hate of if it
    extends to the other gender as well.

    Personally I hope it extends to the other gender. Then that means
    people are just whining about any new character in general that takes
    screen time away from the original team, which would put less weight
    behind the assumption that the hate toward any new characters is in fact
    because they’re badly written females.

    Either way, it’ll be interesting to see what happens. In my personal
    opinion Chi is a good actor, so if people start whining about his
    character as well then they better have a logical reason.

    It's not quite as enthralling as last year's promo. None of the promos released are IMO. Still looks good though. Love Duke's face when Chi Mcbride starts stripping off.
