Glee's deeply emotional Cory Monteith tribute episode will be something of a family reunion.
A few of the original cast members who are no longer with the series will return for the episode, along with a few returning guest stars: Amber Riley (Mercedes), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang), Mark Salling (Puck) and Jayma Mays (Emma) all will appear in the Cory/Finn tribute, according to my sources, along with Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Bieste), Kurt's father Mike O'Malley (Burt Hummel) and of course, Finn's mother Romy Rosemont (Carole Hudson-Hummel).
There may be a few more surprises, but we are told that Dianna Agron and Heather Morris weren't in the script, and aren't expected to appear.
The episode, which according to sources is called "The Quarterback," began production on Friday in Los Angeles, and Lea Michele tweeted a photo of herself wearing a "Finn" necklace while shooting it. We are told that Lea doesn't appear in the episode until the final act, and she does sing.

Quin had a strong connection with Finn so I find it weird she doesn't appear.

I'm suprised she sings and think my tears won't stop after the song stops.
Finnchel was one of the things I was looking forward to this season. I hoped for a reunion especially how he stood up for her against Brody.
Finn will be missed in many ways.
This will actually make me cry so hard, I didn't know Cory, but after 4 years I feel such an emotional bond to both Cory and Finn. There is no word for the feeling, but heartbroken comes close :(
ReplyDeleteI hope Quinn does show up at some point, because she was a big part of Finn's life, even though I understand all actors have contracts and commitments they can't simply bail on.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they'll sing acapella...i'd like it if they did. And wtf?? Why aren't Diana and Heather in the script?? Umm their characters are as important in this episode as the rest of them. Well Heather is Prego, so maybe that's why?? Diana idk, but c'mon that makes no sense, why Quinn wouldn't be in the episode....Sigh...the more i hear about this episode the more depressed i get....R.I.P Cory.
