    If I had to make a top 3 it would be: 1) Blade Runner 2) Galaxy Quest 3) Back To The Future, lots of great potential in any of them. :)

    Whoever submitted this doesn't understand the concept of a cult classic. A cult classic is a movie that most people haven't seen. Just about everyone of these movies is a well known movie. Now The Boondock Saints would make great television series on the right network.

    I am not sure I like any of these as a miniseries idea altohugh the world of Blade Runner probably lends itself best to being able to make the transition.

    1. V For Vendetta

    Not on the list:
    1. Big Fish (In fact I wish Tim Burton would have a TV series with film character cross-overs)
    2. The Fifth Element
    3. Super 8
    4. High Fidelity
    5. Zoolander
    6. Cloverfield
    7. Twelve Monkeys


    Bonus: I know the list says non series films, but there was a Pirates of the Caribbean video game, (POTC: Armada of the Damned) that Disney had to drop for budget cuts a few years ago and I though the story, because it is a prequel and featured new characters, possibly a wink to the first Governor of Australia, would have made a cool TV series or comic book.

    I can see Braveheart as a weekly TV series in the vein of Spartacus and V for Vendetta as a miniseries. FYI There was a Total Recall TV show made I think back in the 90's.

    Dark City with Kiefer Sutherland is a good one. SubSpecies - the vampire film, though it may fall under film series generating three sequels and a spin - off! Omega Doom with Rutger Hauer could be another good one............Oh here's a good one Sy Fy channel web series "Falling Kingdom" and DayWalt Fear Factory's "Camera Obscura"! If you've seen these you already know what I'm talking about. 4 A SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE, I remain Nobody!!!

    From the list I voted for: Blade Runner, Galaxy Quest, The Iron Giant, Finding Forester and Total Recall.


    If I could get a sixth choice I'd add "Last Action Hero" too....

    Last Action Hero would be another good TV series and Sy Fy's Dune - the mini series' were great especially the first one (Paul's story)! But what about Clive Barker's "Hell Bound Heart" novelette (not HellRaiser which would fall under film series with all the sequels) The only change I would make is Kirstie from the film over Kirstie from the book. This is a pretty cool poll question that should generate a lot of responses! I'll be back with more. 4 A SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE, I am Nobody!!!

    Alan Moore hated the film adaption of his graphic novel "V for Vendetta" and so did I. I really hope a tv series of that abysmal film never will be a reality.
