Of course it must be Lindsey. Such a naughty (misguided) boy. But oh so sexy as well. ;-) Christian Kane was amazing in this role.

The best was definitely Faith.. After that it's hard to choose only two more but i'll go with Drusila and Andrew...

Definitely Andrew for me! He was totally hilarious and adorable in the final season and I always loved the Triumvirate. Glory got my vote too for probably being my favourite villain (along with Caleb but he wasn't in 8 episodes). I voted for Jonathan too but Lindsey would just have edged him out if I hadn't missed his name :P

  4. Lindsey, Drusilla and Darla, but of course my favorite character and the only reason I stayed with the show for 7 seasons was Spike. My first vampire love. lol

  5. Drusilla and Lilah for sure, two of my favorite villains with a heart. I was between Tara and Faith; even though the later has a greater impact in the storyline as a character (season 3 was perfection) Tara is my favorite character. With her gentleness, kind and strong, it was a delight see her become more confident and the moral center of the show.

  7. Only 1 option for me and that's Lindsay! Christian Kane is an awesome actor and it shows here as this character is too complex to label!

  8. Faith - The "Dark/Lost Slayer! (Nobody) hurt Buffy and the Scooby Gang like Faith did, Buffy trusted her as they all did!
Drusilla - Madness and Evil, you always knew she was going to do something "Crazy", you just didn't know what she was going to do until it was to LATE!
Darla - (Excluding the Angel episodes) this villain was so good Joss Whedon realized the mistake in killing her off and brought her back to give us more!
But the "Best BuffyVerse Character Ever" has to be "William the Bloody" aka Spike! He killed two slayers and kicked Angel's A$$ more times than I can remember. James Marsters/Elisha DIshku, the series best ever for this poster! 4 A SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE, I am Nobody!!!

  12. It has to be Lindsay as this is what introduced me to the amazing Christian Kane, been a dedicated Kaniac ever since

  15. Usually 3 is plenty of votes but in this case I wish we had more - way too difficult. This list brings back lots of good memories. Buffy had a knack of making recurring characters unique and interesting.

  16. I prefer him as Eliot on Leverage but I enjoyed his turn on Buffy and Angel as well.

  18. 1. Andrew. Loved his unexpected transformation, and his charts and videos were funny.
    2. Jennifer. (sigh)
    3. Drusilla. Important in several plots.

I would have included Riley on the list.

  19. Faith, definitely. Andrew and Lilah were pretty great too.

Lindsey McDonald portrayed by the outstanding Christian Kane! Loved the Lindsey character and Christian Kane just absolutely brought him to life!

  24. I only watched Buffy - voted for Faith, the Mayor and Principal Snyder (ha, loved that guy and his utter contempt for his students that he had no interest in hiding). If I could have voted for one more, I would've picked Jenny Calendar. By the way, I was surprised not to see Joyce on the list.

  25. I think Riley wasn't counted as a recurring character because Marc Blucas was credited as a main cast member in nearly all of his episodes.

Christian Kane aka Lindsey... was there ever any doubt... c'monnnn

  27. Andrew, Mayor Wilkins and other: I liked Harmony as a vampire :)

  28. I think she was a main character.

  29. Aw jeeze, when was this guy on Buffy? I'm embarrassed to say I don't recognize him whatsoever, though I didn't see all of the last season... D:

  30. He was never on Buffy, just heavily recurring on Angel (though I am pretty sure I read an interview that said he did audition for Riley... which is what probably got him the Angel gig in the end...)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks for the clarification! :) I have pretty bad memory but his face and name wasn't even pinging my radar, haha. The audition for Riley is interesting; wonder if I would've liked the character more...
