when the town of Chester's Mill falls into a state of emergency after an outbreak of meningitis threatens to deplete the town's medical supplies. But in this exclusive first look photo, Big Jim's (Dean Norris) lackey Reverend Lester Coggins (Ned Bellamy) seems to be either hording what the town so desperately needs to survive or that's a big shipment of drugs!
"That is the key to the next several episodes," executive producer Neal Baer tells. "It's an important thing because it tells us who Reverend Coggins is, where he stands and where he's going and that will have huge impact on Big Jim in particular."

I thought we already found out who Rev. Scoggins is, when he broke into Duke's house to destroy a file.
ReplyDeleteSo not only have they been hoarding gas, they've been doing it with medical supplies too? So then they probably have food and water saved up also... Me gets a feeling Big Jim, the Reverand, Duke and I think even Julia's husband possibly knew more about this thing than they were letting on....
ReplyDeleteI've been speculating in my reviews that Big Jim allowed the Dome to happen. The propane was meant as fuel for the generator that keeps it up. I haven't read the books, so I might be wrong. :)
ReplyDeleteAccording to the casting sides:

After the outbreak, Big Jim and Barbie discover that the Reverend has stolen a carload of drugs and he's trying to destroy/burn them because it's "God's will" that people inside the dome are dying.

Hhhhmmmm..... that's an interesting theory.
ReplyDeleteI'm more than prone to believe that Big Jom let the Dome happen, but don't know if the propane has anything to do with it directly. I could easily believe he was just saving it up for stock, because he knew the Dome was coming down.
According to interviews, pretty much nothing about the dome story will be the same in the show. I think the only we can rule out was what is in the books. That said, I am 100% sure Evil Jim knows a lot more about the dome than he's letting on.
