My guess would be it's because most people are at home these times. Fridays, Saturdays a lot of people go out at night. On weekdays, they would have to compete with all the network shows. But for networks, they only air comedies and such on sundays, so competition is minimum and people are behind their TVs.
My random guess. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they're forming their own religion, commanding people to honor the God of Cable on Sundays :)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Earlier than I thought, exciting! :)

So... the same weekend as the last two seasons, then. I'm shocked!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it started roughly the same time the previous two seasons. They just cashed in on the Halloween good fortune for S1.
ReplyDeleteWhen I looked at the calendar 3 months ago I figured this was the date. No shock there.
