    If he is derived from the comics, he´s a villain although the actor seems nice and would be a nice addition to the main cast.

    I don't think he's from the comics. Since Michonne and The Governor they've yet to introduce anyone from the comics.

    It's okay by me that they're mining The Wire (Chad Coleman, for example). This is Larry Gilliard, who played DeAngelo Barksdale.
