I like the show, but then I have practically zero political ties so if something is said on the show I don't get pissed off because it has nothing to do with me.
ReplyDeleteI have plenty of political opinions but I can enjoy The Newsroom because I, unlike some people, can accept that it's a fictional drama and just entertainment. I think I had more problems with how women were portrayed on the show in season one than any particular political statements.
ReplyDeleteLeave it to the discussion of politics for someone to downvote me for saying I'm NOT political.
ReplyDeleteI can't really make up my mind. With the criticism this show has gotten, I'm afraid this show will be cancelled before it gets any real closure. That's why I'm stuck between hoping the ratings are good enough for a third season, or that HBO sees the ratings and ends it with good, solid closure this season. I've had too many of my shows cancelled without a closure, I want The Newsroom to be one with a solid ending.
