  1. This looks interesting, and quite a bit ambitious and is that part that worries me. After the fiasco that turned out to be Last Resort (not because of the series, that I actually liked, but because the network didn't give it a chance), I'm not sure this one will be viable. Maybe I'll just check it out once it's cancelled. Well, summer 2014 it's still far away, so I'll see what I do then.

  2. This seems to have a better (and most importantly, far more experiences when it comes to TV) cast than LR had and it's gonna be on TNT. Should be alright at the very least.

  3. Awesome trailer, great premise, unfortunate title. First thing I thought of was "Oh man shippers are really taking over the world."

  4. I hope you're right, it's just that, right now, my faith on networks standing behind their shows is runing short :(

  5. being a lone ship crew is a nice concept, it works well in space and underwater or in the sky and on water, in those genre, many of which can be seen in various Anime. so i like that idea already, and the world is in chaos has been in mix in to the lone ship crew type of stuff. so it can work.

now the question is Ammo and fuel and stuff. i hope they will be able to acquire more if they want to in their chaos of a world. in the past where i saw a similar situations they were able to acquire such needs, so hope they handle that in the show rather then make it infinite.

  6. well for TNT, they better get 3.0 million view or above. i know they cancel steady shows in that get 2-3 million views.

  7. Perhaps since they knew they were sending the ship out of harm's way for a long time, they stockpiled the supplies on it before they started. I think they are in a different situation than most other shows like this because the people ultimately in charge knew exactly what they would need beforehand.

  8. true, that can be the case, which is fine too. as long as they mention something or bring up the subject.

  9. Okay so I'm the type of guy who will see Transformers once if I don't have to pay, because Michael Bay sure knows how to make his projects look pretty but I'm not exactly sure I've truly liked anything he is responsible for bringing to TV... he might be the exec producer only, not sure if he created this or not, but I'm sure his name is largely responsible for the network interest... However I must say both this and Black Sails look awesome, and I hope they are worth it. :) I'll definitely check this out.

  11. It's too long since we saw Adam in anything!

  12. Haha, I noticed that too, but same here!

  13. Well TNT is Cable, they would've been content with the numbers Last Resort did I think. ABC never really gave them a chance, programming them in their deathslot.

  16. I loved the book but I'm actually glad TNT (or whoever) decided to radically tweak the premise from a nuclear holocaust to a world pandemic. It's easier to repopulate the earth when the remnants of humanity don't have to worry about radiation fallout and nuclear winters.

  17. YAY. I know it's been done already (Chuck, Castle, etc), but I would looove if his character just said sth is "shiny" hehehe. Either that or he could name a missile Vera.

  18. Couldn't agree more. And today people are much more afraid of a misterious pandemic than of nuclear holocausto.

  19. This looks interesting. I'll be checking this out. When I saw this trailer, I thought this was a movie, or at least a miniseries or limited series event. I wonder if this can feasibly continue beyond the 10-episode order, and still be good? Hopefully, this series is as good as that trailer seems.
