3:20: We’re getting a video reel of the first season. Season 2 is coming January 2014!

3:22: Panel introductions! And we’re getting a little sneak peek at what comes next…

3:29: Um, so the clip we saw clearly showed Claire dead. The panel gets interrupted by Bacon getting a call from “Joe”…James Purefoy has crashed the panel. The bosses confirm he will return, but whether he’s alive is the big question. (No more spoilers, I guess?)

3:32: When season 2 picks up, it will be a year after the events of the finale.

  1. So Claire IS dead? Does that mean that Natalie Zea will be returning in flashbacks? This is pretty confusing...

  2. I read Claire survived the attack.I read this somewhere (i read so many articles and what not coming out of Comic Con) from someone who went to the panel..I think it was from Marisa Roffman Give Me My Remote.com.

  3. What I like most here is that Williamson admits he made the cops too dumb. I also like the one year jump but if Claire was clearly dead, the idea of bringing her back having miraculously survived makes the show that more preposterous. I watch a lot of genre shows so it is sad when a cop show is harder to believe.

  4. Well good to see WIlliamson admit to his mistakes, perhaps season 2 will improve on them!

Good to see the time jump, could work out great! Also, Claire may just appear in flashbacks, she's the person that ties Joe and Ryan together more than anyone or anything else.

  5. I bet everyone in the audience nodded right along with him in agreement.

  6. Yesterday Jim Halterman from TV Fanatic was there and he reported that Claire survives the attack. It didn't seem as tho she was just appearing in flashbacks, but then again if they don't want to give everything away then the info could be to throw us off track too.

The link is below if you care to read it.That article is much better compare to this live blog Marisa gave from GMMR.

  7. Thanks Laura! With the news blitz from Comic Con it's easy to miss some things! :)

  8. The first season presented cops as epic failures so if Season 2 doesn't present an improvement as Williamson mentioned, I'm sure this show will be remembered as a complete comedy show.

  9. Ha! Maybe I should start watching it as a comedy and see if I like it better that way.

  10. No doubt. It's hard to believe no one who read the scripts thought it would be a problem.
