Wait, what??? So the break happens after episode 10? Gah, didn't even think about that. Each episode itself is a little cliffhanger I can't imagine what they'll do for the mid-season one. *cue early hair pulling*
Agreed. I just hope when MTV renews it it's for another 24 episode season (so that technically story wise we'd have six seasons). Three months is nothing compared to the 8 or 9 months we're used to waiting between seasons so I hope they do in groups of 24 from now on.
I never followed Teen Wolf's ratings before, but I think it is doing well this year so it would make sense to do a 24 episode season again. The pacing sure hasn't suffered.
It is comforting that the current episodes will go on well into September, and from there it won't be too far off, but still.... It will be quite a wait...
In fact I think in some areas it has actually helped with the storytelling... Not that I minded the first two seasons, but having some breathing room, has offered some good opportunities for character, story and humor that were glossed over in the earlier run of the show.
However I miss the getting quick answers like we did the first two years. That part was good.

Nooooooooooo at having to wait until January.
ReplyDeleteBut yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy not having to wait until any later than that! :) It'll only be about 2 and a half months right? :)
ReplyDeleteThat is true. At least the wait isn't longer!
ReplyDeleteits a regular winter hiatus! yay! or at least a little longer then a winter hiatus, though not much.

ReplyDeleteNo, the break happens after episode twelve.
ReplyDeletewhat? wait!. we have to wait until next year for the rest of season 3??
ReplyDeleteThat's actually earlier than I expected. I was thinking late January. They are doing the USA Network timing it seems like.
ReplyDeleteAh, not too bad then. We still have some episodes to enjoy before the break. *phew*
ReplyDeleteMore importantly, yeah for a B season at all. Can't be upset about more episodes no matter when they air.
ReplyDeleteAugust 19th is the finale for season 3A (episode 12). Season 3B (episode 13) starts January 6th.
ReplyDeleteMy only sadness has been the lack of Greenburg for the past couple of episodes. Although i dont think he is absent.
ReplyDeleteGreenburg is obviously the Darach.

ReplyDeleteIt's better than waiting a full year for it. Still too long, though.
ReplyDeleteMore like 5 months so it's going to be a long wait.
ReplyDeleteWHAT TA FUCK! Another cable Split Season.... i rather watch a Full season and wait 8 months..
ReplyDeleteI bet the cliffhanger is gonna be, someone looks like they died, some other big bad appears. or Scotts Eyes turn 1 red 1 white... ya im sure....
ReplyDeleteYOU ROCK!!! Thanks for finding that out! (aka eternal_moonie)
