Psych - Season 8 - Miro Sorvino gets Multi-Episode Arc

15 Jul 2013

Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino is joining the cast of Psych for a multi-episode arc, TVLine has learned.

Sorvino will play the Santa Barbara Police Department’s newest head detective, Betsy Brannigan — an incredibly sweet, adorably reserved and yet certified badass. Brannigan’s record for taking down ruthless criminals is rivaled only by her skills in sparkly craft making, and her seemingly bubbly demeanor can turn on a dime once she straps in the dual-wielded Colt .45s. She’s a scrapbooking, cat loving, crime-fighting machine.

She’ll first appear in the seventh episode of the show’s upcoming eighth and likely final season.

no chance she will become "head detective" forever as Lassiter will get his job back

  2. I LOOOOOVE her character description. So Psych. She has skills in "sparkly craft making" and is a "scrapbooking, cat loving, crime-fighting machine". Could it get any better? Lassiter will be priceless to watch whilst interacting with her.

Do anyone expect Lassiter to get his job back?

  4. Yes! And I do hope both characters interact.
