OK. Poor Terry rest in peace brother. Sookie, WTF are you doing fvcking Benlow in Fairyland? That can't be good girl. Exchanging blood too. Shakes head. You better have a plan girl.
decent ep, kind of a bummer to kill off Terry, but this cast does need to do some trimming. I will say that the new showrunner has done a pretty good job juggling all the storylines this season compare to previous seasons
So Bill drank Benlow's blood and then could go outside in the day, is that permanent, is he a daywalker now, or is it like when Eric drank full-blooded fae blood and could be outside for several hours?
OK, this is officially the best season of True Blood! What an episode! Terry's death was just awful... I teared up, there's plenty more of needless characters that just need to die than him. And Bill, in the sun, making his most epic scene ever, Sookie's been very different this season, I totally love her new behaviour of "Fuck all this shit, I'm doing what I feel like doing". Damn...
'I may be a whore, but I'm not stupid' - not sure why but that line made me laugh so hard, glad Sookie is finally embracing who she really is! I've never hated her like some fans, but I'm really liking her this season more than others.
Seriously though, that was a pretty great episode, saw Terry's death coming especially after the glamouring from Holly's friend, but Burrell's was a shock to me. However, it was a shock in the best possible way as it finally gave Bill something really really cool to do and I'm genuinely excited to see what happens next with the whole Vamp Camp story.
Eric, as usual, was great. Of course 'Fantastico!' is normal human-speak. Glad Lafayette got a bit more to do (and that he wasn't the major death!!!), and I wasn't so annoyed by the Sam-wolves story this week although I'm glad it's over.
All in all, best episode of the season, but I'm hoping it will be topped in the next few weeks as they look pretty good too!
Poor Terry, but if anyone had to go right now, I can live with that, although I still suspect we're not out of the woods yet. I suspect this will give Andy some ammunition for a plot.
Nice that Adelaine has a name!
Sookie! -But I don't blame her. She is recovering from the fact her parents wanted to kill her and Warlow keeps saving her life, and it seems like he's being honest about the fact that he gets a little out of control.
Finally, I can root for Bill!! What a scene. Looks like Sarah Newlin will have to continue on outside the Warlow/Lilith conflict, which Lilith was pretty jerky in this episode.
Jessica met Ryan Lafferty, err I mean Wes! Hope he sticks around a while. Hippie Vamp FTW! Poor Jason, though, he thought he could save everyone and just ended up having hurt Jess and be Sarah's little monkey. I hope he does something really awful to her this time! (but she's a fun antagonist!)
Like that Willa and Tara are sticking together and when she goes and saves Eric and he saves Nora and goes looking for Pam, she's like "And we have to save Tara and her friend Jessica too." and Eric's just like, "I guess.". (YAY!! No Vamps Died Yet!!!) -And I have a feeling Jess will want to help Wes and Wes probably knows Violet...(But where is poor Ginger???)
Not real found of Sam just handing Emma over to Martha after all of the effort. And really Alcede, Sam can't go back to Bon Temps, give me a break. He's going to go back for Terry's funeral, his friends, and his bar. -I have no idea where this is going to go with the wolves now though...
Glad Lafayette didn't die. He's our only Demon/Medium and has such a fun personality, I would be pretty sad to see him go. Plus I wonder if Terry isn't going to come back and haunt them??
Solid episode all around (except, again, for the werewolf / shifter dreck). My one big takeaway from this episode was... Sookie bit Warlow!? What the hell? That wasn't a love bite either. Sookie doesn't have fangs so she'd have to bite down damn hard to split the skin pretty deep to get that much blood. That was f*cking bizarre... and completely fascinating. It can't be just a "heat of passion" thing. There has to be more to it.
Heh. As has been shown before, all you need is a prick of the finger and a tiny bit of blood rubbed in the wound to fix that. What she did was something else altogether.
Agreed. There was definitely an intentional duality there with Sookie wrestling with her persona, paralleling Warlow's own conflict with himself. That was one deep nasty bite...reminiscent to Tara and Franklin!
I don't think it's a coincidence that the bite was put in there shortly after the idea of Sookie becoming a hybrid like Warlow was presented. My initial reaction was that it's either a red herring or it's foreshadowing.
Haha I know right?! These four should clearly have their own talk show - think The View, but with Levi, Kazinsky, Fillion and Tudyk discussing their careers and generally nerdgasming.
Thanks for the link. I didn't know Rob is awesome like that!:-) Seriously, a Star Trek fan, general sci-fi fan, stuntman, swordsman ... Just wow!:-) And he seems to be very nice too.;-)
Yeah I thought the same thing. I actually like them two together. I am thinking that SOOKIE got pregnant. HE was first a full fae and then became half vampire. HE hasn't had any sex since Lilith. YEAH I imagine that light was Sookie getting pregnant. That would make the series interesting.
I don't get the love of Sookie and Warlow ....I see no chemistry between them and he did kill her parents and he has no control over his self even though he is 6, 000 years old? He is a good pairing for Sookie? SMH He is a psycho which we will see that he is one. The only suitor in this show that has unconditional love for her is Eric ....no one else. When this season is over all you Warlow lovers will feel silly for even contemplating him as a option for Sookie.
Agreed. Warlow doesn't love Sookie. He's obsessed with Sookie. A 6000 year old Vampire Fairy who wants to isolate Sookie from her friends and family. Not what Sookie needs at all. I hope to see some great growth in her character in the last episodes.
Pbt ....we see this and I hope other people see this Warlow for the crazy guy he is ....look at some of the responses on these posts just from here alone are riduculous. He is not good for her but then how can a guy that killed her parents ever be good for her....she is stupid to ever touch him...I liked sookie for the first 4 episodes but these last 2 episodes makes no sense. When he is killing and kidnapping or whatever crazy stuff he will be doing she will regret this ....but it will be too late.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh Sokeeeeh, gurl, you have issues.
ReplyDeleteIssues no, that's Sookie being Sookie...
ReplyDeleteThankk goodness LaLa is okay!
ReplyDeleteOK. Poor Terry rest in peace brother. Sookie, WTF are you doing fvcking Benlow in Fairyland? That can't be good girl. Exchanging blood too. Shakes head. You better have a plan girl.
ReplyDeleteHe saved her life twice and she's single... not exactly illogical.
ReplyDeleteLove when Bill killed the governer, one thing he's actually done right this season. Good that he doesn't agree with Lilith's plan..
ReplyDeleteBest episode of the season. I don't know why, but Terry's dead didn't affect me at all
ReplyDeletedecent ep, kind of a bummer to kill off Terry, but this cast does need to do some trimming. I will say that the new showrunner has done a pretty good job juggling all the storylines this season compare to previous seasons
ReplyDeleteDamn,Terry.

ReplyDeleteAlan Ball, I love you, but this is my favourite season of True Blood.

Wonder what Arlene is going to do now?
Well that's it for now! Another fun one!!
And he understands her.
ReplyDeleteAnd his penis apparently shoots out light.

ReplyDeleteAnd Rob Kazinsky is freakin' awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjKEb4bi4lQ
ReplyDeleteThanks! XD
ReplyDeleteMakes finding a suitable method of birth control sort of difficult :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that, all those guys are so awesome!
ReplyDeleteshe wanted to heal herself, her wounds that he had caused on her neck.

ReplyDeleteHaha I know right?! These four should clearly have their own talk show - think The View, but with Levi, Kazinsky, Fillion and Tudyk discussing their careers and generally nerdgasming.

ReplyDeleteYes he's hot. AND he seems to care for her. I like him and her. I am even thinking what if SOOKIE got pregnant????

ReplyDeletewith a FAIRY VAMPIRE FAIRY?! haha, love it.
