    Technically it is the sequel, Primeval: New World, and yes it was cancelled by the Canadian company that made it. However, SyFy is still airing the remaining episodes. I have no idea how many are left. I just started watching it because it aired after Warehouse 13 and wasn't planning on live tweeting every week, but someone specifically asked me to so now I do. I haven't seen the original nor more than a few episodes of this one.

    P:NW is cheesy fun, but still has some impressive dramatic moments too. So far I'm enjoying it enough to put the original on my To-Watch list.
