Me too! I don't get why they didn't leave it where is was? Its not like its needed on Tuesdays to bolster ratings,it was doing just fine where it was....
I'm a little irritated, but I have nothing else I'm watching on Tuesdays and for a short time I had to choose between POI and Hannibal. So unless they move Hannibal to a night where I'm watching something else, then it might be good for me, but I agree it was kind of nuts they way they changed their Thursday to comedy night.
It was made for Thursday night dammit!! Shaking my fist up to the sky,ha!
I don't think i have anything at that time on Tuesday.I just loved it on Thursday night,it gave me something to look forward to and i then had Elementary on afterwards...
I don't get why you guys are so upset about that. Yes, it's a change. But it can only gain in viewers in the long term, not really lose them. It's going to have 2 of the top 5 shows on TV, both above it, as it's lead-ins. Yes, the move might throw people off for the first few weeks of the season but that will be easily made up for in 2 ways: firstly, I'm sure CBS will promote it plenty so people will know. Secondly, because viewership is always greater during premiere week, it shouldn't take people very long at all to notice and/or figure out the time slot change. So in the very short term, it might slip. But the long term gains are well worth it. CBS is giving it the best chance it can to grow even more.
If you guys are talking about the chaotic airing schedule that POI had this last spring, once again I will just advise you to get used to that. CBS does it with all their shows every spring. Not in the fall, just in the spring. As far as the logic behind it, the only thing I know of is that it's awards season and football playoffs so there's a lot of interruptions. The funny thing is that no one seemed to notice the weird scheduling before it happened with POI. Now, suddenly everyone is noticing it even though it's been happening every spring for a long time. What I'm angry about is CBS taking as long as they did to make it available on iTunes and all the other online services. I really don't get that one at all. They're usually pretty good about that stuff, but for some reason they did a terrible job with POI. It is available now, but it took them 2 years too long.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Wow,these are outstanding!
ReplyDeleteStill pissed off at the move to the 10|9c timeslot

2 hours of NCIS will ensure audience is solid but the ratings will slip a bit. They should have scheduled NCIS, then POI, then NCIS:LA
ReplyDeleteYep,now POI will bolster NCIS LA ratings.. :P
ReplyDeleteUh, that's not really possible, at least not on the same night since it airs after NCIS LA.
