The two new roles producers are currently casting include a "cute and quirky" twentysomething named Jenny, who will be a major recurring guest star and will first appear in episode two, while the other is a new African-American student at McKinley High School. Both roles will require singing.

Despite recent tragedy, I'm glad they're not cancelling the show. I would totally understand if Lea sat out for a full season or didn't return at all though. It kinda breaks my heart to imagine what she's going through.
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree about Lea, but personaly I wouldn't mind if they canceled the show now.
ReplyDeleteThis will be a very tricky season to pull off. I don't watch the show, but the tragedy was so great that even people who are not fans couldn't help but be touched by it's sadness. I do hope that they manage to make a good season acknowledging the grief, but bringing joy to the hearts of their audience, cast members and crew. They certainly could use it.

ReplyDeleteThey're already renewed for 2 seasons, as much as it is hearbreaking to work with a loss this big it wouldn't be fair to just quit for all the people who work behind the scene.
ReplyDeleteI am one of the fans you speak about so generally and I don't need another season, because for me the show will end in bitterness either way. (I know that other fans want another season and I am pretty sure they are going to get one.)
