I think they should kill him off, as harsh as that sounds. It doesn't feel right to just make his character disappear, as if there's some kind of hope he'll return someday when he won't. Give him a good death and lay his character to rest along with Cory.
Wow, that's a surprise. I expected months, maybe a 2014 midseason debut, but a week? I guess Lea must be going back sooner than expected, or maybe she's taking a break for a while.
Exactly. I don't think killing him off would be harsh. It would be sad, but the really sad part already happened anyway, this would simply recognize that fact.
Just one week? that just seems wrong. It is harsh for any show to lose a cast member, but it is just particularly tragic when said cast member is in a relationship with his onscreen romance, who is arguably the focus of the show.
Didn't the writers already have the first two episodes written before they went on break or was that just a rumor? If it's true, that's one heck of a turnaround time for the writers as well as the actors.
I don't watch Glee but I think having the character also pass away is a way to honor them as a character and actor. On 15/Love, two of the young actors died in a car crash going to set and in the show they wrote in that they died in a plane crash.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I expected a much longer delay than that.
ReplyDeleteYep, me too. And I am very curious to find out what exactly they're going to do with the story, especially with Finn.
ReplyDeleteagain rip cory :(

ReplyDeletethat's news? i anticipated at least a month. guess he wasn't that intrical in first few episodes.

ReplyDeleteonly a week? O.o
ReplyDeleteWow! I thought it would be at least a month delay. I'm surprised it's only delayed one week.
ReplyDeleteI figured it would be much later maybe not even till the new year.
ReplyDeleteI think that is the route they will go but it will not likely be until towards the end of the season
