  2. What the hell is this? It looks like a jacked-up Dracula/Pushing Daisies mashup.

  5. What the fresh hell? I don't even know how to respond to these posters. And I wish Katie McGrath had stayed a brunette, it suits her better. I hope Jessica De Gouw will be better here than she was on Arrow.

You make this sound like a negative thing. A Pushing Daisies/Dracula mash-up would be awesome beyond words.

    Adoring the Gothic kitsch!

  9. Katie is actually a natural blonde. She has mentioned it in an interview years back.

  10. Apparently not when NBC is involved. :)

  11. I did not know that. Regardless, i think she looks better with dark hair, she looks a bit washed out with the blond (like Emma Stone or Jennifer Morrison- both natural blondes as well). Maybe it's a matter of personal taste- I like the contrast between her light eyes and fair skin and her dark hair- it's very striking.

  13. Ha. Well, very mixed feelings. In a way they are interesting and I kinda like a couple of them but most are tacky like has been said.

  14. Have to give them kudos for looking NOTHING like any other promos we've seen yet. At least they don't all look grumpy like Tomorrow People or generic like the rest. Not my style but definitely a lot to look at.

  15. Hey at least the pictures are more interesting than the synopsis about Good Guy Dracula and his Bestie Van Helsing.

  16. I... well... um... yeah, you have a valid point there.

  17. Ha! I was distracted by his black wings. Still nothing beats the bees doing Mina's hair. It's like a Disney scenario Burton-style.

  18. Tacky... yes! That's the word I was looking for! Thank you!

  19. Not impressed with these.. Guess they were trying something different. Not sure it works though.

  20. A revision of the classic tale...........risky! The acting is there (fine cast i.e.: Katie McGrath/Merlin and Jonathan Rhys - Meyers/Octane - he bit Norman Rudus/The Walking Dead - tongue out of his mouth in Octane)! If the writing can hold up this gamble might deliver. I'm looking forward to this series, so for now I'll hold the line. 4 A STAKE IN DRACULA'S HEART, I will remain Nobody!!!

  21. I didn't even recognize Katie McGrath with the blond hair. The photos are kind of weird ... different for sure. But the poses/faces look fake - there's no emotion coming from them at all. Maybe that was the intent but it doesn't inspire me to want to become invested in these characters. That being said - I love Katie and JRM so will at least watch the first few episodes.

  22. Hope it's better than tb..
