Yes! I love her and this is so exciting.
ReplyDeleteNice :D
ReplyDeletecuddy from dr house, nice :-)
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! Lisa Edelstein and Stana Katic in the same place together?! A+ on this casting.
ReplyDeleteNow that's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteDang it. I was hoping she'd be working with Castle. Oh well. It'll be nice to have her on the show anyway.
ReplyDeleteKnowing television...Rachel will be the kind of woman who chooses a career over her personal life. Kate will see Rachel as her future self if she goes down the same path.
ReplyDeletethis scares me in the sense that Kate will tell Castle to back off. Ahh...
ReplyDeleteI heard rumors that Kate does accept the proposal, so hopefully Kate can do both (which is a concept I explored in my post-finale fic. It's possible!)
ReplyDeleteSPOILERS ALERT
ReplyDeleteThis isn't just rumors, Kate said yes. Some fans went on location today where they were shooting at the swings set and they saw the preparation of the proposal scene and Stana (who wear extensions) smiled, nodded and then kissed Nathan. So it's obvious she said yes.
About Lisa, I think their storyline (Kate and Rachel) will be very interesting. I mean, we nerver saw Beckett dealing with an other strong female character. And I think that will help Kate to see that this is not the life she wants, thanks to Rachel who choosed career.
And seeing Stana and Lisa on screen together will be amazing!
I'm hoping those aren't foilers to throw us off, tbh.
ReplyDeleteNo I really don't think so. There were a lot of tweets about it, and what they say follow what we already know from this video of the young actor audition's.
ReplyDeleteAnd even if we think about it, the show will not make sense if Beckett choose DC and say no to Castle. Marlowe choosed the swings set for Castle proposal's, it was obvious that she said yes. This just confirms it. And I'm glad that we actually going to see her answer even if there is a time-jump.
Yes I saw the video:

He asked at the end if his time in DC didn't go well with his *Fiancee.* (which BTW this character is going to be awesome for Alexis, totally opposite of her ex.) My guess is that with Alexis being home, his book being released, and with Kate in DC will just be a bit over whelming for him because he will be juggling his priorities. If they are engaged, I really don't see a break up, but just a lot of juggling. Plus, I can see Castle pushing Kate into wedding plans and because she is so wrapped up on her job, she won't have the time to work on them. I think Lisa's character will show Kate how important it is to have a personal life and that Kate will eventually go back to the 12th and life won't be as crazy and she will finally start wedding plans. What I see happening at the end of the season is she moves in with him or he asks her in the finale, but we won't get a wedding, not until next season 7 at least or even later. This will be a long drawn out engagement.
I wouldn't be surprised if they shot both scenes: Her saying yes and her saying no.
ReplyDeleteThis...
ReplyDeleteAwesome casting! :)
ReplyDeletePerfect casting!!!! I love her and I get a feeling she will fit right in..
ReplyDeleteWho says she can't cross over to New York later in the season? ;-)
