    s02e04, "Down", when Jesse is evicted by his parents from his deceased aunt's former house. That whole second season was so sad for me. I could barely watch it. I stuck with the show, though. When Jesse managed in s03e02, to buy the house and humiliate his parents (and indirectly, their lawyer, too), I was exultant.

    The show has never made me happy, but, at least this feeling of bitter victory, that was something. Why ever did I and will I continue to watch it? I don't know.
