ReplyDeleteWhen Hart says something WILL happen, I pretty much believe him. Plus it's Season 9, and most likely the last season, he doesn't really have time to mess around.

ReplyDeletePelant should've been done after his first episode, the two after that (with the body on the canopy and breaking up Booth/Brennan) were atrocious.
ReplyDeleteIt's also likely this could be the final season. If that's the case, I could see them stretching this storyline out all the way to the finale.

ReplyDeleteI think it was a big mistake not to close "Pelant arc" in season 8...They could have written a new villain for season 9. Though, we're excited for the new season.

Pelant stopped being interesting ages ago
ReplyDeleteYou really don't want to get me started on that... But for starters: How did Pelant get the body up there (dripping et all) without Angela/Hodgins not noticing. Bodies are heavy. In which magical world does an ordinary hacker get access to a drone? Why would a normal, non government, security firm have access to a drone anyway? How did the FBI sealing off the building miss the parking garage that was attached to the same building? How did Pelant even manage to drive while being shot in the freaking face?
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to suspend believe-ability, because it's TV and it's Bones. But this was so far out of left field it just was bad writing.
Wow you would actually miss them getting married after wanting it for so long?? I can take or leave Pelant as a character but I am so looking forward to some early season angst while safe in the knowledge that they get married later on. If this is the special episode that they have brought back on old writer for then my bet is that it will be around Christmas time anyway. So cheer up :);)
