    Ryan Chambers isn't related to Vince. She was his 20-something intern from season 6. http://dexter.wikia.com/wiki/Ryan_Chambers

    (And Deb and Dex are not BLOOD related!)

    The first and primary def is of blood relation. the second def says it can be "inappropriate" relationships, so I can give you that, but honestly when children who go through great losses and changes together all of their lives, I think it's pretty natural that they would form great bonds and even rely on each other. I don't find that idea inappropriate, I find it logical.
