quirky indie romantic
comedy that stars Emmy
Rossum (Shameless) and
Justin Long. Sam Esmail is
directing his screenplay,
and Scott Stone and Farnaz Fahid are producing
for Milestone along with Lee Clay and Anonymous
Content’s Chad Hamilton and Steve Golin.
Set in a parallel universe, Comet bounces back and forth over the course of an unlikely but perfectly paired couple’s six-year relationship. “ Comet is about the drama, comedy and utterly surreal state of heartbreak — a subject in which I am well versed,” the writer-director explained.
