NBC is making some changes to freshman drama Believe.
The Bad Robot series from writer/EPs Alfonso Cuaron and Mark Friedman is writing Sienna Guillory's hit-woman Moore out of the series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Guillory (Resident Evil, The Wicked Within) signed on in February as a series regular and appears in the pilot as the first person attempting to kidnap Bo. The role will not be recast.

To say that this is a disappointment would be an understatement. She was one of the main draws for me and her departure may well mean my interest has all but departed as well.
ReplyDeleteP.S.
The last name is Guillory, not Guillroy.
I wonder what happened.
ReplyDeleteI like her, this is definitely a bad news for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad. She seems like she would have been an interesting character and would have brought a lot of action with her.
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering about Jamie Chung since it seems like she will be needed at some point on OUAT? --Besides Bo then, there have been no other main female characters cast :(
Jamie is hardly on OUAT so i doubt that will be a problem, i mean last time they didn't even use Jamie as Mulan.
ReplyDeleteJamie WAS hardly on OUAT, but NOW that Nealfire is a series regular there's a greater possibility that she will be needed more, since he is with her (and Aurora and Philip)...or they will have something happen to her (kill her or have her captured by someone or something) --But again I do not know if she is a regular for Believe, or if her role there will be minimal, but if I could choose, I would prefer her to stick with OUAT because she's got an unconventional female role and because she is the thing that's leading all the Eastern Philosophy/Myth that was introduced last season...
ReplyDeleteShe's fine so no disrespect to her, but I actually think making the choice to have a constant rotation of assassins as they travel might be better from a narrative perspective, for the show, rather than just having ONE tracking them down. Especially in the first season, it allows the show to expand its world more easily.
ReplyDeleteThen by the end of S1 when all the contract killers fail to catch them, they can introduce a big mastermind assassin/tracker...
I think Jamie is a series regular here... It might be a bit problematic if she's needed on both shows (especially since the shows are on different networks too. I have more faith in Sarah having easier access to Once since Mixology is also on ABC).
ReplyDeleteHowever with Believe being midseason I think there is some wiggle room to have her be on both shows at least for a limited period.
