  1. So she's the Huntress? It's great to see more kick butt females coming to Arrow. I look forward to meeting this new character.

  4. Interesting.. will she be a villain or a love interest or both?

    ReplyDelete
  5. she might be the one in the island where they showed a mysterious lady

    ReplyDelete
  6. huntress char is jessica degouw ,and she is in "draculla" now.so she might not be a problem

    ReplyDelete
  7. how the hell they r pulling of these awesome char.i truly do not know.
this show really need emmy consideration.

I don't remember any mysterious lady on the island besides Shado. Can you tell me tell me which episode.

    Are they mutually exclusive?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Seriously? ANOTHER romantic interest for Oliver?! (I really hope I'm jumping to conclusions!) I don't see how he would have time to fight crime, he has too many women to keep straight. Clearly his love for Laurel is deep and meaning full..... (that was sarcasm)

    ReplyDelete
  14. I think he is referring ro Fyers' boss.

    ReplyDelete
  15. She doesn't have to be in the present, y'know..

    Ah. Makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  17. actually there are 3 huntresses ... Helena Wayne, Helena Bertinelli and Paula Brooks (artemis's mom) ... Lisa? i mean i'm still waiting for Hi-tech to appear and other so they find someone olver can make a vigilante? i wanna see how this coming?

    ReplyDelete
  18. there's already 1 huntress and that's Helena.

    ReplyDelete
  19. i mean, in the show

    ReplyDelete
  20. he's already with laurel
how can that be love interest

    ReplyDelete
  21. she could be the equivalente of Mia Dearden, AKA the speedy, in the show.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Color me majorly unimpressed. This show doesn't need to go down this path, it needs to go down the path of bringing in DC characters and getting rid of the mother and sister.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Then they should have named her Mia

    ReplyDelete
  24. yeah, that' why I called equivalent, because they already have one speedy, 2 if you count Thea, they don't need a third one. But this character has a dramatic life, just like the description

    ReplyDelete
  25. How do you know it won'tbe a DC character? Lisa could also be a code name.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Because they have been pretty forthcoming about DC characters

    ReplyDelete
  27. Still not getting why if she was the equivalent of Mia Dearden in the producers minds why they wouldn't just be calling her Mia.

    ReplyDelete
  28. But there has never been more than one Huntress in any DC universe

    ReplyDelete
  29. So basically what there's already in the show? Recycling characters, soon enough they'll be recycling storylines.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Helena wayne is the Batman's daughter of Earth 2 - she becomes the huntress
Helena Bertinelli .. you already know it
Paula Brooks - she once called herself like 'the huntress' as part of the golden era... then she changed her name as the Tigress

    ReplyDelete
  31. Simply because they would avoid people thinking she would become another speedy, like they hope Roy would become, or Thea could become, only because Oliver used to call her speedy. Changing the name they could focus in other things than her becoming a hero in near future. This is just what's on my mind. Regardless of that they could do anything they want. We don't even know if she'll be a DC's character. But if she'll be, this is the closest character form green Arrow comics that gets close to the description. Anyway....

    ReplyDelete
  32. They said there will be two big bads from the comics next season. Maybe this is one of them and they don't want to reveal who they are yet. Just a thought.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Honestly, that reminds me of how people elsewhere jumped upon hearing about the scene where Oliver in McKenna's apartment as she walks out of the shower. They claimed the show already recycled scenes as there was a similar scene with Helena, and guess what.. both scenes were different.
I wouldn't jump to any conculsions from such description..

    ReplyDelete
  34. Laurel won't be with him because she feels herself responsible for Tommy's death, and seeing that the last thing he said to her was "I love you", it will be hard for her to be with Oliver right away.

I remember one of the execs saying this in an interview.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I don't read the comics but I don't think so. I just meant that the character description sounds like the Huntress character we already have.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Based on this tiny character description she sounds a lot like the Huntress. I hope she is a combo of villain and someone he is interested in because the Huntress arc worked for me.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I am glad to hear it. They need to develop Laurel as a character in her own right. She's been defined by her love life or the potential of her love life for too long.

    ReplyDelete
  38. that's a Good point, i mean in the Show's Comic (arrow #36) she's gone all cry cry and locked in her bedroom not even his father can talk to her .. and so Ollie might be like always going away from the trouble and sadness and the thing .. also i remember that Dinah Lance (laurel's mom) has a mission for laurel so that means they are maybe not going back again for a while. so good point

    ReplyDelete
  39. It could be a previous love interest from the island, nobody said it would be from the present. Also, Laurel might not want to be with Oliver now following Tommy's death.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Agreed, I want to see her becoming more than a love interest, and I want her to be her decision and not Oliver's

    ReplyDelete
  41. actually i'm still wondering how will the things go now that Fyers is dead there's still Bill Wintergreen in the island but that's not a problem for slade to get rid of. if the love interest is in the island, how will that exactly be shown?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think Fyers' boss could be Lisa (one possible theory.) Fyers' boss could send more people to the island or arrive herself there and meet Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  43. yes, that's what poeple have been saying... and that could be good. i only want to know how much are the writers going to make us cry.

    ReplyDelete
  44. At this point, I don't care about Black Canary at all. I want Laurel to be someone who is interesting in her own right and not someone where when she shows up, I'm waiting for the scene to be over. It would also be great if she and Quentin could talk to each other as adults instead of yelling, whining, and manipulating each other all over the place. It's like a high school father-daughter scene when they are together.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I shouldn't jump to conclusions, you're right. I'm mostly annoyed that they're giving him yet ANOTHER love interest when there are already so many on the show and he's going to have a thing with Shado. It's unnecessary to have Oliver sleeping with someone whenever he isn't sleeping with Laurel.

    ReplyDelete
  46. LOL I just posted basically the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  47. they showed her heels(red) in the season finale,be aware of red something in season 2.my bet she might come to S.C after her brief encounter with oliver in the island.

    ReplyDelete
  48. someone said arrow tv series is on 5 yr plan, based on the hit of the show they r starting to think for a longer plan like SPN.this series might become a great boost for cw network to recogonise themsselves as one of the premiere n/w

    ReplyDelete
  49. That's a possibility. She could be using a code name. And maybe the woman in the flashback, I think(hope) she could be Talia Al Guhl. That would mean the man Merlym had found in Nanda Parbat is Ras Al Guhl an this whole undertaking is Ras plan to control the world. And that would mean other cities from de DCU getting something like the undertaking, meaning more integration from the entire DCU, and who knows a spin of! That would make a lot of sense and would be terrific...

That's what I've been thinking as well Ramon. I think that she too is definitely Talia, judging by those incredible legs. Not to mention the fact that as you said, Ra's Al Ghul is from Nanda Parbat in the comics.

  51. true...but I know how show runners love their love triangles/squares! lol

    ReplyDelete
  52. Seems like every showrunner loves those triangles and they can have a triangle in the past too.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yes there are two actually. Helena Bertinelli and Helena Wayne. We got Bertinelli. Helena Wayne was the daughter of batman and catwoman :) I wish we got her but I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Correct
me if I'm wrong, but haven't CW changed the Green Arrow storyline already?
Oliver's parents weren't supposed to die in a Safari and he was supposed to
live with an uncle until the wreckage? And wasn't Black Canary supposed to have
a child (Sin) before she marries Oliver? So, honestly I don't expect them to
follow any timeline. As for a new love interest, isn't it a bit early, Oliver
and Laurel being together or not, so soon after Tommy's death? Honestly, as
much as I respect Dinah Lance I don't believe she's ready to be Black Canary
yet. Specially being as close to Oliver as the show portraits her. This Laurel
is a fierce district attorney and could never accept Oliver as the real Oliver.
I totally expected them to create their own Universe from the beginning; after
all it's the same network that aired Smallville. I also researched dc.wikia
list of characters named Lisa... couldn't find one that fits the description,
only found them on New Earth. Although in the comics I totally buy Black Canary
as being his love interest, I couldn't relate to her in this show. It's really
annoying to me. I really hope this is an original character, as well as a
friend and maybe a sidekick to Team Arrow. If not, this is going to be another
    really boring character.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Could be Lisa Jennings of the Superman Squad,Lisa Snart 'The Golden Glider; Lisa Morel 'Aquagirl' or as someone else sai just a code name!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ahem.. @Lisa what have you been up to...?

On a serious note though, I'm not sure about her. If she's going to be a big bad, I don't want her to be a love interest too.
