Arrow - Season 1 DVD and Blu-Ray Release Date and Extras

14 Jun 2013

Some bad news and some good news.

The bad news can come first: The Complete First Season DVD and Blu-ray sets for Arrow Season 1 will be a little bit later than we first anticipated… look for them on Tuesday, September 17.

The good news is we now know of some extras!

On this set, we can find “over an hour of all-new extras,” including a documentary, two behind the scenes featurettes, highlights from PaleyFest 2013, and more! Included, of course, will be all 23 episodes.

  2. That date actually sounds very typical of CW shows. It should mean that season 2 won't premiere until early October though. DVDs for Supernatural usually came out 2-3 weeks before the premiere.

  3. I'm fairly certain that CW's entire lineup (minus the midseason entries) will be premiering in October.

  4. That is my thought too because it worked well for them last year.

  5. We need a special feature that's simply an hour or so of Stephen Amell working out, shirtless.

I heard somewhere (I want to say a tweet from a writer) that they'll start rolling out October 1st, which would be a Tuesday, which means Supernatural once again starts off the fall line up.

  7. That seems about right. They'll start about a week after the rest of the broadcast networks and begin premiering their shows, a few each week, over the first three weeks of October just like 2012.
