Selma Blair's future on FX's Anger Management may be in jeopardy after a disagreement with the show's star, Charlie Sheen, according to TMZ.
The clash started when Blair allegedly complained to Anger Management executives about Sheen's unprofessionalism and called him a "menace" to work with. Sheen found out about Blair's comments and, according to the report, said he fired Blair himself. He also told the show's crew that he would refuse to shoot if she showed up on the set Monday, according to TMZ.
Sheen reportedly already has his eye on a replacement for Blair: Mila Kunis. Sheen has extended an offer to Kunis to guest-star on Anger Management for 10 episodes, at a rate of $1 million per episode, TMZ reports.

Charlie Sheen is not only a waste of airtime, but also a waste of a human being. It's pathetic that he can whine around like he does and still get his way. We need a world where we don't have to rely on Charlie Sheen to make everyone laugh.
ReplyDeleteIts a damn shame this show has a 100 episode pick up because Sheen is pretty damn awful.
ReplyDeleteBoy this guy's just trouble wherever he goes, isn't he? And I'm willing to bet anything that the very reasons why Selma Blair complained about him, are the exact same reasons why he and Chuck Lorre had a falling-out, and therefore why his gig with and relationships with everyone at CBS went down in flames. That's what happens to some stars in Hollywood when they reach a certain level of fame, money, and power. They think they can jerk people around, boss people around, and do whatever they want without getting consequences for their actions. Nothing new here. In fact, him and Lindsay Lohan could be best pals right now.
ReplyDeleteSelma Blair should call her colleague Ron Perlman, also known as freaking HELLBOY, and watch Sheen shit his pants.
ReplyDeleteStill winning?
So he fired her because she disrespected him as her boss? Isn't that EXACTLY the same way he acted on "Two and a Half Man?"
ReplyDeleteBut unlike him, I bet she won't be getting her own show afterwards. Instead she'll get labeled a "diva" and a "bitch."
ReplyDeleteHe's a scumbag. I hope this entire thing blows up in FX's face. They deserve it for giving this douche a show, then picking it up for 100 episode.
ReplyDeleteI like how FX picked up Anger Management, simply because I wanted to see how Charlie would do on cable, unrestricted of the broadcast networks' rules of language and behavior, but the show itself isn't close to being funny and it doesn't deserve 100 episodes. It's more awkward than funny, especially with the overstimulated laugh track that makes it seem like the audience were all high at the time of shooting. The storylines, the characters' lines, everything makes it just unbearable to watch. I also hope this really blows up in FX's face, 10 episodes of the show was more than we needed, and they actually ordered another 90. Jesus, Hollywood's full of shitheads.
ReplyDeleteCan they really afford to pay 10 million to a guest star on basic cable? o.O
ReplyDeleteSheen is a fucking idiot, I have no idea why people give him the time of day. I watched approx 2 minutes of AM and turned off, its basically Sheen playing himself badly and inflating his own ago for an hour. The only reason he is this way is because we let him in the first place - stop watching and that will stop funding him.
ReplyDeletegotta agree here, it is an awful facsimile of humor.
ReplyDeleteI could use 10- mil but not if I had to work with Sheen. What a mess
ReplyDeleteIs there are a better case for cognitive dissonance than Charlie Sheen?
ReplyDeleteSuch an ass, so many vices, so difficult. He's a damned truther and a mysognist. Also whip smart, one of the most charitable guys in hollywood and one of the most ardently defended. Even by the ex-wife he threatened and the ex-girlfriend he shot.
Why would he want to hire Mila Kunis? You'd think he'd hate Aston Kutcher for replacing him on two and a half men, so why would he want to pay his finance 10 million dollars.
ReplyDeleteProbably not, tho it wouldn't surprise me if he offered to pay Mila out of his own pocket to act like a big shot. *gag* Not even 10 billion could make myself be fondled by that scum.
ReplyDelete*yawn* Sheen's making trouble again.
ReplyDeleteBut what's important, Selma is now open for Hellboy III; OHHHH YEAHHH!!!
ReplyDeleteScrew you Charlie -tho I had kinda forgotten you had a show anyway-
Sadly, this will happen, at least on some circles.
ReplyDeleteI think FX got overexcited, but still is a calculated risk. Just think about all that syndication money after the 80 episode mark. The ratings have been plummeting since the start, and for the second season they are plainly erratic; but at this point, seeing this through is the only way to make money.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's what's all about at the end.
Not surprising to me I guess. Sheen hated the lack of control (or maybe more accurately he hated Chuck Lorie's control over 2.5 Men) on CBS and when he moved to FX he made sure it was his vehicle.
ReplyDeleteObviously when one person is running the show you do not get on that person's bad side or it's buh-bye! Fair? Not really... Just how it works and anyone in the industry that is not aware of that does not get sympathy from me.
Everyone signing on knows what they are getting into and they deserve what they get.
I already live in that world and DO NOT WATCH the jerk. Don't watch and the show and charlie goes away.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cynical, albeit a harsh truth.
ReplyDeleteWell Anger Managment ratings are already down the toilet, so this will be a chance for Selma to get into something better. She just left a show nobody watched anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe moment i heard about this i removed the show from my watch list and now i'm officially not going to watch it. It first i started to watch it for Charlie because i thought that he changed, but now i know better. And with this decision i'm beginning to decide whether or not to stop watching everything that has Charlie Sheen in it. And my decision goes towards not watching anything with Charlie Sheen in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm done with this guy. I sided with CBS and Laurie about the decision to fire him and now i'm standing behind not giving this guy anymore money or chances.
I hope for Mila's own sake she avoids that flush-able show like the plague
ReplyDeleteIsn't it quite the punishment to have to work with him?
ReplyDeletethats the way I understood it when I read it, SHEEN is offering to pay her $10 million, not the producers of the show. If I was Sheen and I paid $10 million for Mila Kunis I'd be having some pretty strong words with the writers to ensure there was a love scene or two written in for my money!
ReplyDeleteThough the money is pretty darn good, but since obviously this role is also a love interest, I hope she can hold her vomit when he touches her.
ReplyDeleteIt all comes down to building up your "fuck you" money pile, and if Kunis already has hers.
Charlie has never been a "comedian", no way. He was a pretty funny actor in his prime, but that a comedian does not make.
ReplyDeleteI guess it is! XD
ReplyDeleteI just expect there are many actors that are pains to work with. self destructive or otherwise. Some people are able to handle dealing with unprofessional coworkers and others are not. If someone is not capable of dealing with Charlie's issues they certainly should not be on his show since he is obviously going nowhere and is not going to change.
I usually do not take offense to offensive people like that I guess. People are who they are.
I highly doubt people will hold it against her for not getting along with Charlie Sheen. If it was anyone else in the world? Maybe. Him? Not so much....
