Lets thank 2013 for this lol seeing as 13 is a bad number lol
Something has possessed the Executives of the networks lol oh wait the Nelson Rating is the one who to blame bc they follow their ratings and not the DVR ratings bc i bet DVR ratings are better then Nelson Rating but the Executives are dumb ass money making idiots who don't know how to make right decisions
Well at least it had a better ending than "Crime Story" did in the in the late 80's. And they left it so if the gods smile and some cable company picks it up all the major characters still kicking. God I loved this show but I knew it was too high quality and classy to last . How NCIS has managed to survive in the age of life styles of the rich and crass (mad men) or Zombie /fantasy violence porn (walking dead/game of commodes oops thrones) is a miracle in it self. Oh well if it truly is the end, RIP at least the year run was great.
I agree, Advertisers believe that DVR viewing is evil and bad because most dvr viewers zap though the commercials. Although this maybe be true of Dvr viewers the Neslon's also have data from their current boxes that show even when people watch show live as soon as the commercials start people leave the room, change the channel, look down at there tablet or lap top and zone out the commercials just as effectively as if they zap thought them watching a show time shifted on a DVR. Especially here in So.Cal with the double whammy election cycle wrecking this 2012-2013 TV season (1st the presidential elections and now a variety of L.A. county wide offices) people zone out as soon as that 2 second black screen shows up whether your watching live or via dvr. Advertisers need to get more clever, political lair adds (that's all of them regardless if it for the left or right ) which do zero to educate votes should end .TV executives (this goes to both OTA and pay Tv broadcasters) need to understand that the viewing model has changed FOREVER
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
We knew this, now Golden Boy is next.
ReplyDeleteMost unsurprising cancellation so far
ReplyDeleteAgain, not a surprise, but the fucking bloodbath of epic proportions continues! What's next?
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of hoping ABC dumps all their freshman comedies just to keep up with everyone else's cancellations ;)
ReplyDeleteI liked the show at first, but stopped watching when it became clear it wasn't going to survive.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks

Michael Chiklis is not having very good luck on broadcast TV lately.
ReplyDeleteSo did I
ReplyDeleteThose execs are doing their job. They would get fired if they didn't. They have advertisers to please.
ReplyDelete"Vegas" reminded me of "The Playboy Club", it would have worked on HBO or Showtime.
ReplyDeleteIn other words
ReplyDeleteAdvertisers: Executives of the network if you kiss our asses we will sponsor your shows and bring money to you. What do you say?
ABC: We in.
CBS:So are we
CW: Same here
FOX:Here too
NBC: Sure
How am i doing lol
Pity. Granted I wasn't watching regularly, but it was an enjoyable hour when I got to it.
