4 May 2013

Thanks to Richard for the heads up.

Someone new is officially at Revenge‘s helm.

As predicted, executive producer Sunil Nayar has been named showrunner — taking over for departing series creator Mike Kelley — if and when the drama is renewed for a third season, our sister site Deadline reports.

In addition to Revenge, Nayar’s career includes stints on Body of Proof, CSI: Miami and Oz.

  1. So...he worked on a bunch of shows that were cancelled. Might not want to advertise that.

  7. I dont know who disliked that comment, but Oz is one of the greatest series ever. And one of the reason we got series like The Wire, The Sopranos and even Game of Thrones.

  8. So this pretty much confirms what we already know: there will be a 3rd season of Revenge.
Sunil wrote the script for "Masquerade", which is a masterful episode, so I'll trust him. Of course, Kelly did a really good job, even if the first half of the season wasn't as good as the first, he managed to do a really good job on the second half until now. I'm looking forward to see what Revenge will bring us
