- Someone steals office supplies to sell on eBay.
- What was promised to be cake mix is surely NOT cake mix.
- Shawn may remember a lot of things, but he can't seem to remember the name of a poison.
- There's a mysterious timer counting down to something.
- If you're dying of poison, you do NOT want Gus by your side.
- Lassie's habit of sucking up to senior law enforcement officers doesn't go over well with Trout.
- Shawn's idea of contacting the police is not the same as Trout's, and involves lots of "smoochies."
- A pivotal car chase gets off to a slow start.
- The truth about someone's job comes out to a person with power.
- Someone has a difficult time dealing with silence, and it may not be who you'd think.
- Lassie almost strangles someone.
- The odd personal lives of the SBPD provide potential fodder for "Badge & Honor," the crime show Trout consults on. (Perhaps a Dick Wolf production?)
- Someone makes a grand sacrificial gesture.
It's a great end to one of the show's best seasons, and I hope you enjoy the finale as much as I did. Can't wait 'til season 8!

this isnt the season finale but the season finale will air in fall as the musical wich is in season 7 not season 8.
ReplyDeleteThat is true, although I was thinking of that as a standalone special, since this was originally conceived as the end of the season.

ReplyDeleteOh, the cake mix! Poor...! Well, you know ;) That was so not cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, you most certainly do NOT want Gus by your side sometimes. Shawn, on the other hand, yep, you do;)
I really enjoyed the episode too. Should be posting the review tomorrow.
Can't wait to read it! It was a really great episode :)
ReplyDeleteThis was the season final the muscial is a stand alone that was meant to air before this episode but the USA network decided to play around with psych and use it as a crrott so the wait between 7 and 8 won't be so long
ReplyDeleteI have already seen this episode and it's NOT a dramatic/serious finale (like you might be expecting), it's actually one of the funniest episodes of the season, even the cliffhanger isn't that serious. It's actually my second favorite season finale after season 1's Scary Sherry. It's absolutely hilarious, and Anthony Michael Hall's character “Trout” is an ass but a really funny one, it's a fantastic performance, and all the regular cast have equal screen time except for Henry (Corbin Bernsen).
ReplyDeleteI think it's much funnier than Office Space, i certainly laughed more.
ReplyDeleteWe at SpoilerTV who cover the show got press screeners so we could write advance reviews.
ReplyDeleteYeah I knew about press screeners, but there seem to be a lot of other people who are not involved with the press who have seen it already...
ReplyDeleteSomeone must be streaming it somewhere...
ReplyDeleteHow has everyone been able to watch it already???
ReplyDeleteFunnier than Office Space?
ReplyDeleteI'm so confused as to how people have been able to watch this episode already!
So am I. But now I only have to wait one more day so ...
