OMG! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DON'T END A SEASON LIKE THIS! OMG! IT WILL BE A LONG WAIT TILL SEASON 9! Shit, poor Sammy! :((((( Dean D: NOOOOOOOOOOOO Cas :(((((((((((((((((((((( OMG all angels are falling! DAMN! THIS WAS AMAZING! AMAZING ACTORS! EVERYONE! I LOVE SUPERNATURAL SO MUCH! OMG!!!! SEE YOU GUYS TILL NEXT SEASON!
Oh God, that was amazing. Whoa, was not expecting all the angels to start falling! (Figured it'd be just Cas)
AND OH FUCK, MY FEELS AT THE DEAN SPEECH TO SAM AND SAM FINALLY SAYING IT. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. AND THEN ANOTHER HUG AND A;LKSDJFA;LSKDJF.
But seriously, that speech could have used an "I love you". I've been waiting eight years for it!
AND JODY IS ALIVE BECAUSE WE DIDN'T SEE HER DIE.
I loved it and I can't believe they ended it there and I'm excited for season nine.
So what exactly does it mean now that the angels have fallen? Castiel is a human now, but does this mean all the fighting that went on up in heaven is going to continue on earth? It was way better than last year's finale and the Sam and Dean moment at the end... That was great. Crowley being more human was great too. I figured Metatron was lying about the trials. He seemed pretty off the wall to begin with.
I.AM.IN.AWE.THAT WAS THE BEST EPISODE OF SUPERNATURAL HANDS DOWN.The last scene was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen...MY GOD THOSE EFFECTS...The angels falling down...Cas became human as expected.NOT the way we expected,METATRON YOU SOB.Sam and Dean tore my heart out.AGAIN.Please tell me what happens with Sam.WHAT?!?!PLEEEEEASE!!!What's gonna happen to him???
I am leaft wanting more and the cliffhanger was awsome .But i didn't see Naomi dying at all ! ..I was in tears when dean and sam were talking to each other ..I just dont know what happened with the gates of hell ..But the end oooooh i want to see more
The gates of heaven? They are still open but I don't think they can enter it anymore. Like Lucifer can't enter it. I mean I guess they are still open. To human souls anyway. We'll find out next season.
poor cas but does that mean that there will be a war or what i mean angles falling is good not that bad right? ...But i guess when you all hate each other its bad
If you can walk away, I am in awe. I am struggling through two shows that I just don't seem to be able to quit even though after every episode I have to physically stop myself from tweeting nasty things to the showrunners. Kudos to you.
I think he still is Cas. I don't figure they'd call him any different. Kind of like "Meg" was Meg Masters. But it's just what the demon and everyone else called her after that because it stuck. As far as I can tell, his "mind" is still Cas.
All these Angels falling to Earth is a perfect time for the government to learn about the supernatural. It would be a different direction for the show to go in and open new storylines.
I was disappointed because it seemed predictable to me. I also was very annoyed Carver separated Sam & Dean with the flimsiest excuse possible. No way Cas needed Dean there to help with that cupid, compared to what Sam went through. What is Dean going to do in an angel fight? Oh yeah, drink. I was sad they killed Naomi, I really wanted Amanda Tapping to stick around. She was so great for the little they gave her. And they better start giving Dean more to do - if they keep flipping him between Sam and Cas, I'll be pissed. Stop separating the brothers every time, dammit.
That's how I feel too! If he's just a human sitting in the back seat of the Impala, that will be annoying. Hopefully, he gets his grace back soon b/c I really have no desire to see Castiel tagging along w/the brothers next year Well, I guess if that's the plan, I'll have to see how it all plays out.
So their big season long quest just gets left unfinished? So what was the point of this whole season? To showcase LimpSam and one cool specials effects shot of angel comets? I'm at a loss to explain why anything happened at all this season. Carver said this season was all about perception. All I 'perceived' was continuity errors, ignorance of canon, an ill-advised attempt at a love story, an angel story that was totally underwhelming and a lame 'quest' storyline that ended up going nowhere. What exactly did any of that accomplish. Nothing. Nothing at all. Kripke always gave us answers and opened new questions. I have no idea what I watched this season but I still have no idea what the point was or who these characters were.
Don't know if I'll bother with next season if this is their idea of quality storytelling. Very disappointing season overall.
I agree. It'll be interesting for 2 or 3 episodes but will get really boring really quick. They already struggling to give the main 2 humans something to do.
I predict the season will involve getting him back his grace.
Wow that was bad. Not sure the way to redeem Sam is to make Dean a worse dick. First he takes what will probably be Sam's last day on earth, because Dean from day 1 expected he might lose Sam in these trials, to remind Sam of every way he ever failed, including coming back soulless, which I'm pretty sure according to season 6 wad more Cas's fault than Sam's. Then he goes off to play with Cas while Sam completes the final trial on his own.
Cas has been an idiot all season. What happened to the super cautious Cas who wanted to watch bees or butterflies all day rather than risk hiring anyone else?
And Sam? Really? This has been all about getting your brother's approval and not about doing the right thing, even if it means your life?
The falling angels was cool though. The only redeeming part of the episode.
So what's Sara Gamble doing for the next couple of years?
If they followed canon, then we would have lots of babies born to infertile women and lots of trees full of grace. However, canon has been trashed this year, so I have no idea what will happen with all the angels who fell.
I'm with you :) And he can always stay in the bunker, do research maybe so the boys can call him , so they won't have to separate for one to go do researh alone
Oh. My. GOSH. I loved it, yet I hated it. I still can't reconcile everything! The entirety of that last trial was pretty amazing, especially the tussle with Abaddon and Crowley's moving speech about where he even starts when asking for forgiveness, up until the very end. Dean's speech to Sam was beautiful, of course, but I wasn't counting on Sam to just give up. I figured he'd be strong one last time and complete the trials, which wouldn't kill HIM per se, but the "demon" inside him... and he'd be purified. It annoys me that everything they built up to all season just went kaput. It doesn't seem like the Winchester way, though I know Dean totally in character by trying to save his brother. Yet he probably would have sacrificed himself if the roles were reversed. It just fell flat to me.
The angel story line, on the other hand, surprised the heck out of me. I didn't expect Metatron to turn on Cas, and the look in Castiel's eye when he realized he had become human (and I'm sure he'll think useless) was haunting. But human/hunter Cas is something I've been intrigued by, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he fits in next season. And those angels falling from heaven and losing their wings mid flight was absolutely beautiful and horrifying at the same time.
I didn't care for it. There were parts I really enjoyed (Sam/Dean) and the stuff I didn't care about it. Sadly, I was never interested in Castiel's story, and that didnt' change w/tonight's episode. Again, I found the cuts to the Castiel scenes (prior to Dean joining him) to be jarring and awkward. There has got to be a better, more seamless way to transition btw the stories. And I fully admit to not being interested in Heaven, the angels, or the angel trials so that certainly makes those scenes even more jarring, IMO. I was barely paying attention but I wasn't sure why Castiel needed Dean to come w/him. He didn't. It was just a weird, clumsy way to get Sam by himself. Again, I would have thought Carver could have come up w/a better way to do it than what he did. How did Dean assist Cas? He just seemed to be tagging along. Oh well. Naomi. Do I care that she's dead? Not really. I like Amanda Tapping, but I never liked Naomi. She just came off like a manipulative witch. I loved when she pondered when the angels stopped caring about humans b/c all I could think of was her massacring several people in Biggersons a few episodes back and snapping that woman's head b/c she was traumatized and in a state of shock. Nice! Again, maybe I should have been paying more attention but was I supposed to be concerned about the falling angels? Was that supposed to mean something? I know Metatron is doing whatever Naomi said he was going to do but should I care? Haha. Crowley. I wonder if the blood will have a lasting effect on him. I will miss Abbadon's body b/c I really liked that actress. Metatron. It was no surprise he was up to no good. Most angels aren't up to anything good on this show, so no shocker there. Jodi. I guess she survived. Good. Kevin. I thought he was missing last week, but there he was. For me, the BEST moment of the episode was the Sam/Dean scene w/Dean stopping Sam from completing the trials and Sam's confession. I must admit to being very upset in the episode when the scene of the confession cut away. I am happy we got to hear what Sam confessed, but I would have loved to see Jared act it out. In any event, that "broment" was the best! I loved that scene.
I've been frustrated by how they've been splitting Dean's time between Sam and Cas for a while now, too. It's like they don't think Cas can be friends with both of them or something, or that he doesn't trust Sam... which I know made sense in the beginning when he was just the boy with the demon blood, but they've come a long way. I absolutely love scenes that the three of them are in together, and wish they didn't feel the need to find stupid excuses to make Dean and Cas leave Sam behind. Long story short, I want more Sam/Cas scenes haha... I think they could be great friends.
Well I loved the ep, but again it would have been so easy for Sam to have said something about not looking for Dean and again they blew it. Again it is Sammy, oh poor me I have let you down so many times and again it is Dean, telling Sammy he will always come FIRST. Same song, what 5th verse?
So is Crowley human now? This was a very good finale, but it seems all the shows I watch have had awesome season endings this year.
Guess it will be around Dec when I get the DVD, give people enough time to sell used ones or Amazon to put it on sale. :(
Misha and Jared both have said they stopped writing scenes of them together because of their antics and how it stops filming, but they absolutely have to now, with Cas fallen and Misha a regular. If they keep dragging Dean away from Sam to separate them I'll freak.
Ahah don't make me start on this again ;) I'll start giving myself false hope that some kind of link and references could really happen. My theory was that Cass would've take his grace himself so he won't be trap into Heaven when the gates close...I was wrong^^;; I really don't know now...
So who sacrificed something? Dean didn't sacrifice Sam. Sam didn't sacrifice his life. Cas didn't sacrifice anything because his angelness was taken away against his will.
Well, don't feel too bad, Sue...I mean, we have so much to look forward to, now. Cas is human and Sam is...well...something's wrong with Sam...AGAIN...for the 9th time. And Dean...? I mean...Dean....
Ah, I do remember that now. Well they need to get over themselves so that we can have some good scenes next season. The writers can't just use him to separate the boys when they feel they need to.
Yeah . . I forgot to mention the soulless thing in my post above. I honestly cannot believe that is NOW canon that Dean actually blames Sam for being returned to Earth w/o a soul. Hahaha! You just have to laugh b/c that is SO completely STUPID. How in the world was it Sam's fault that he had no soul? What is Dean even talking about? Sam did not take himself from the Cage? If Dean wants to blame someone for Sam being soulless, blame Castiel. It was HIS fault. But you know what . . . . I'm putting that lameness in the same "inexplicable, crap writing" category as Sam not looking for Dean. Neither computes so I won't give it too much thought! For me, the only redeeming part of the episode was the Sam/Dean moment in the church. I think Sam stopped b/c Dean was begging him not to go through w/it. Sam seemed determined to complete the trials, but when his brother asked him to not do it, Sam decided to stop. I don't know. I'm a complete sucker for any brother moment so I loved that scene. We have so few brother moments in the show nowadays, I have to treasure them when I get them.
Great post! This entire season has been completely pointless. Nothing was accomplished in the first 11 episodes, and nothing of significance happened in the 2nd half except for Cas losing his wings.
As expected, Metatron turned out to be just another lying angel bitch and the angel trails were fake. That was one hell of a finale, can't wait for next season! Thank you Jeremy Carver for making Supernatural exciting again!
I'm sure Cas will be able to fight too. He learned to in the future alternate universe. Hope Cas doesn't get as depressed as he did in that timeline though. :(
1 - Sam was going to confess and Dean took his sweet time to point every single fail Sam had and even tried to joke about it. Really, Dean, REALLY?
2 - What a lame excuse Carver did to separate the brothers, like other writers did. In the end, Sam was dealing with Crowley and Abaddon. Dean was drinking. Terrible writer choice.
3 - IMO killing Naomi was a stupid move. Amanda Tapping is amazing. What do I say about Abaddon? Alaina Huffman was perfect and they destroyed the knight of Hell's vessel, so Alaina is probably done too. Why did they waste two great actresses? Abaddon and Naomi could be amazing rivals next season.*sigh*
4 - And the canon obliteration continues. So now angels are falling like adults and not babies?
Honestly, I could care less about the angel storyline. My attention was grabbed in the third trial, and I thought the best moments came from there (Sam and Crowley's emotions, Abaddon entrance - kudos to Jared, Sheppard and Alaina), but I was expecting some definition.
Well, even with great special efects, Ithought this episode weak. When I remember about episodes like AHBL and NRFTW, it makes me sad.
sorry ok just when i was getting used to the fact supernatural was gone (the old supernatural) and that Jeremy (though good ,could never pull an Eric ) HE GOES AND DOES THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! what a bloody well written episode you would be stupid to not agree he made me in floods of tears and heartbroken ,and FRESHHHHHHHHHHHH there's that word fresh ..This season (though not all good episode's ) the last 3 in my opinion were good but this EPIC ! and beautiful and heartbreaking :(...SUPERNATURAL IS BK TO BEING SUPERNATURAL ! and not some in poster..
Exactly. Clearly, there's not interest in the writers' room in developing a Sam/Cas friendship that is separate and apart from Dean. I know Jared doesn't see Castiel as Sam's friend b/c he said so in an interview. He said Castiel was more "Dean's friend than Sam's." I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Maybe, they could give Sam his own friend since he has NONE.
I am just having fun finding connections whether it's on purpose or not (probably not because of the writers don't seem to pay much attention to the past).
FYI sam didn't have the most scenes ,dean actually punched and captured crowley and oh yes talked sam out of dying . I dont know what some of you want ? i mean nobody died and we have saw enough of that ,this was a fresh ending .War will happen next season ,the end of days
I wouldn't expect to see any Sam/Cas scenes next year. He's been on the show for four years at this point, and he and Sam still don't have very many, if any, scenes by themselves. Castiel is Dean's friend. As I said below, the writers don't seem all that interested in creating a Sam/Castiel friendship. Who knows why? Actor antics aren't a good excuse.
I just wonder now if people are all (or a LOT of them) will learn about the supernatural part of the world now that it's rainning 'people'......oh boy...its gonna be a huge panic
With Cas human now it would make zero sense for them not to at least have more scenes of being in the same room.
Sam defended Cas last episode so I will never understand the idea that Sam and Cas can't be friends. Yes Dean and Cas will likely always be closer friends, but Sam and Cas should be working together and talking sometimes.
I'm a member of a winning fandom. I liked this season. It took time to clean up Sera's mess. Carver did a great job. Just because it ends this way doesn't mean a thing. This is SN. I am so tired of hearing complaints. It was great. I hope for more than 10 seasons. If you don't like and want to walk way, then do so. How about being a fan? That might be a new idea for some. I may not like everything, but I love it.
I really hope the Supernatural world would be exposed to regular folks. Like in "The End" people knowing about the bad cause of Croatoan zombies. Different cause it's angels but still may make quite a mess on Earth if they somehow don't get reborn.
I guess the debate on whether Dean meant everything he said earlier in the season in the penny episode while under a spell can end. He repeated it all sober while Sam is supposedly weak and dying in an act of sacrifice.
Not hating on Dean here. Just the recent characterizations.
I agree w/you, but it has yet to happen. Sam is always taking up for Castiel w/Dean. He did it in S7 and in S8 but they still refuse to show Sam and Castiel bonding or talking on any level. I'm not sure why that's the case, but that seems to be the case. Haha! I think Sam defends Cas b/c he knows what it's like to make mistakes or to set out to do something for the "right" reasons but get turned down the wrong path. He's been where Cas has been so it's easier for Sam to forgive Cas. You'd think they would have a closer relationship, but I think it's pretty clear that Cas is basically Dean's friend. I just don't expec that dynamic to change next year. Even w/Cas being human, I foresee most of his interaction being w/Dean as it always has been.
Unless there only was rainning angels where they were....and it didn't look that way...there's no way nobody saw that and pulled his phone out of his pocket to film.........it's gonna be a huge panic . Or at least the writers think about this cause it wouldn't be logic for nobody to see this
100% agree people are never happy i guess chuck was right when he says "the fans always bitch" not that people aint free to there opoions but come on!!!!!!!!!! this was a final and yes there are questions but that's why it's called a cliffhanger
It's like you are reading my mind. The whole thing was pointless from the brother rift to the so-called quest. I could handle that if the standalones were awesome but not one episode hit it out of the park for me. Most of them didn't get past the batter's box.
Did you see the map in the Men of Letters hideout when the lights went crazy? Kevin saw red dots on the map. I assume the red dots are where angels landed, and they were all over the place.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Bye bye Castiel.
ReplyDeleteThat last scene was unforgettable and sent chills down my spine.....AWESOME finale! Can't wait for Season 9!
ReplyDeleteOMG! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DON'T END A SEASON LIKE THIS! OMG! IT WILL BE A LONG WAIT TILL SEASON 9! Shit, poor Sammy! :((((( Dean D: NOOOOOOOOOOOO Cas :(((((((((((((((((((((( OMG all angels are falling! DAMN! THIS WAS AMAZING! AMAZING ACTORS! EVERYONE! I LOVE SUPERNATURAL SO MUCH! OMG!!!! ... That last scene... just wow
ReplyDeleteExcept no because Misha's a regular next season.
ReplyDeleteBye bye me. Not that Jeremy Carver cares about that but I feel a huge weight has been lifted.
ReplyDeleteSo what exactly does it mean now that the angels have fallen? Castiel is a human now, but does this mean all the fighting that went on up in heaven is going to continue on earth? It was way better than last year's finale and the Sam and Dean moment at the end... That was great. Crowley being more human was great too. I figured Metatron was lying about the trials. He seemed pretty off the wall to begin with.

ReplyDeleteIs there a beyond AWESOME choice? Loved, tortured, is it time for the new season yet??????
ReplyDeleteThat was so bad and I'm so frustrated right now...
ReplyDeletewar on earth probaly but what happened with the gates ?

ReplyDeleteWow did not see the twist of the angels falling.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised shady Metatron was lying. Cas often finds himself blind to the truth. He really needs to stop trusting the wrong people.
Have predicted Cas would eventually become human for a while now. Will be interesting.
Wonder what will happen with Crowley, if the affect of Sam's blood will be permanent or won't be because the trial wasn't completed.
I assume Jodie is okay because we didn't see her die and the brothers met with Crowley.
Hope Sam will be alright.
Without his grace he's no longer Castiel, is he?
ReplyDeleteI think he still is Cas. I don't figure they'd call him any different. Kind of like "Meg" was Meg Masters. But it's just what the demon and everyone else called her after that because it stuck. As far as I can tell, his "mind" is still Cas.
ReplyDeleteI didn't really feel any tension in this episode, but a lot of cool things did happen. I'll still watch next season.
ReplyDeleteWhat I don't get is what's gonna be the point of him next season if he's just some clueless human?
ReplyDeleteWow, I couldn't be more excited right now. We may be on the same page with Grimm, but so far off with this show.
ReplyDeleteAll these Angels falling to Earth is a perfect time for the government to learn about the supernatural. It would be a different direction for the show to go in and open new storylines.
ReplyDeleteGreat acting by Jared and Jensen. Best brother scene ever.
ReplyDeleteIf he's got his mind, he's still Cas to me. His powers don't define him.
ReplyDeleteWondering if with the angels all on earth, will it be more like the apocalypse or paradise?
ReplyDeleteI was disappointed because it seemed predictable to me. I also was very annoyed Carver separated Sam & Dean with the flimsiest excuse possible. No way Cas needed Dean there to help with that cupid, compared to what Sam went through. What is Dean going to do in an angel fight? Oh yeah, drink.

Haven't seen it yet. Did Dean do anything at all?
ReplyDeleteI had chills at the end there.

ReplyDeleteWell, I guess if that's the plan, I'll have to see how it all plays out.
When Cas is being badass Cas and not comic relief Cas, he would make an excellent hunter. IMO.
ReplyDeleteSo their big season long quest just gets left unfinished? So what was the point of this whole season? To showcase LimpSam and one cool specials effects shot of angel comets? I'm at a loss to explain why anything happened at all this season. Carver said this season was all about perception. ReplyDeleteI predict the season will involve getting him back his grace.
So to sum it up: All angels are dicks except for Cas and Joshua.
ReplyDeleteNope. But maybe he can take off that ugly ass trench coat.
ReplyDeleteThe end saved all the remaining episode.
ReplyDeletewhere's the option "it killed me"?
ReplyDeletethank you, well said.
ReplyDeleteWow that was bad. Not sure the way to redeem Sam is to make Dean a worse dick. ReplyDeleteThanks God ... Thank you for this comment! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah both brothers were way off, even by the standards that they were written this season. It's like they don't even know each other at times in this.
ReplyDeleteAnd they totally wasted Abbadon this episode. Thought for sure she would weasel the Queen of Hell title belt from Crowley in exchange for saving him.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you :) And he can always stay in the bunker, do research maybe so the boys can call him , so they won't have to separate for one to go do researh alone
ReplyDeleteLike the Apocalypse, I assume.
ReplyDeleteI know, right?

ReplyDeleteHaven't seen the ep yet, but I'll be takin' my bows for spottin' Metatron's lyin' ass from a mile off.
ReplyDeleteI thought she'd kill him and I assume she would have if Sam hadn't lit her up.
ReplyDeletesh*t is going down, literally!
ReplyDeleteYup, Sam was spineless and Dean's speech at the end was contradicted by everything he said and did in the first half.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm a bit disappointed about that.
ReplyDeleteExactly!
ReplyDeleteI've been frustrated by how they've been splitting Dean's time between Sam and Cas for a while now, too.
ReplyDeleteBingo.
ReplyDeleteGood riddance.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately besides being the voice of reason, not really. Hoping next year writers will give him more to do.
ReplyDeleteWell I loved the ep, but again it would have been so easy for Sam to have said something about not looking for Dean and again they blew it. Again it is Sammy, oh poor me I have let you down so many times and again it is Dean, telling Sammy he will always come FIRST. Same song, what 5th verse?
ReplyDeleteSo is Crowley human now? This was a very good finale, but it seems all the shows I watch have had awesome season endings this year.
Guess it will be around Dec when I get the DVD, give people enough time to sell used ones or Amazon to put it on sale. :(
Yeah . . . . I could have saved myself some time and just dittoed your post :-)
ReplyDelete"Meh" is definitely right.
Yeah, I don't get why Sam and Cas can't have more scenes. Jared playing jokes on Misha is not an excuse. XD
ReplyDeletemaby a big war on earth
ReplyDeleteMisha and Jared both have said they stopped writing scenes of them together because of their antics and how it stops filming, but they absolutely have to now, with Cas fallen and Misha a regular. If they keep dragging Dean away from Sam to separate them I'll freak.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think about Cas becoming human with our "The End" coming to pass theory?
ReplyDeleteYeh ,also wonder what's gonna happen with hell and jeez everything
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm kinda fond of the trenchcoat. But Cas getting a change of clothes like he was wearing in "The End" would be great. ;)
ReplyDeleteAhah don't make me start on this again ;) I'll start giving myself false hope that some kind of link and references could really happen. My theory was that Cass would've take his grace himself so he won't be trap into Heaven when the gates close...I was wrong^^;; I really don't know now...
ReplyDeleteSo who sacrificed something? Dean didn't sacrifice Sam. Sam didn't sacrifice his life. Cas didn't sacrifice anything because his angelness was taken away against his will.
ReplyDeleteWell, don't feel too bad, Sue...I mean, we have so much to look forward to, now. Cas is human and Sam is...well...something's wrong with Sam...AGAIN...for the 9th time. And Dean...? I mean...Dean....
ReplyDeleteWait...who's Dean again?
Ah, I do remember that now. Well they need to get over themselves so that we can have some good scenes next season. The writers can't just use him to separate the boys when they feel they need to.
ReplyDeleteYeah . . I forgot to mention the soulless thing in my post above.
ReplyDeleteI honestly cannot believe that is NOW canon that Dean actually blames Sam for being returned to Earth w/o a soul.
He had almost all of the dialogue. He captured Crowley. That has to account for something.
ReplyDeletehe'll be like 2014 cas maby
ReplyDeleteCas can be a dick at times too!
ReplyDeleteBut pretty much!
It was okay. I was expecting more emotional scenes.
ReplyDeletedid you not like ?
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteThis entire season has been completely pointless. Nothing was accomplished in the first 11 episodes, and nothing of significance happened in the 2nd half except for Cas losing his wings.
I see Death somewhere, eating a chili dog, dabbing at the corner of his mouth with a napkin and shaking his head.
ReplyDeleteAs expected, Metatron turned out to be just another lying angel bitch and the angel trails were fake.
ReplyDeleteThat was one hell of a finale, can't wait for next season! Thank you Jeremy Carver for making Supernatural exciting again!
I'm sure Cas will be able to fight too. He learned to in the future alternate universe. Hope Cas doesn't get as depressed as he did in that timeline though. :(
ReplyDeleteBut no one was a hero in this one. Dean's drinking on the job turned out to be the right call.
ReplyDeleteOMG, where do I start?
ReplyDelete1 - Sam was going to confess and Dean took his sweet time to point every single fail Sam had and even tried to joke about it.
Maybe it's cause it was a spell and not the angels taking their grace themself or cause they have a host already
ReplyDeletesorry ok just when i was getting used to the fact supernatural was gone (the old supernatural) and that Jeremy (though good ,could never pull an Eric ) HE GOES AND DOES THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteExactly. Clearly, there's not interest in the writers' room in developing a Sam/Cas friendship that is separate and apart from Dean.
ReplyDeleteI know Jared doesn't see Castiel as Sam's friend b/c he said so in an interview. He said Castiel was more "Dean's friend than Sam's." I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Maybe, they could give Sam his own friend since he has NONE.
Point to you.
ReplyDeleteI am just having fun finding connections whether it's on purpose or not (probably not because of the writers don't seem to pay much attention to the past).
ReplyDeleteFYI sam didn't have the most scenes ,dean actually punched and captured crowley and oh yes talked sam out of dying . I dont know what some of you want ? i mean nobody died and we have saw enough of that ,this was a fresh ending .War will happen next season ,the end of days
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't expect to see any Sam/Cas scenes next year. He's been on the show for four years at this point, and he and Sam still don't have very many, if any, scenes by themselves.
ReplyDeleteCastiel is Dean's friend. As I said below, the writers don't seem all that interested in creating a Sam/Castiel friendship. Who knows why? Actor antics aren't a good excuse.
Maybe the sacrifice was not getting revenge? :I
ReplyDeleteDon't know.
I just wonder now if people are all (or a LOT of them) will learn about the supernatural part of the world now that it's rainning 'people'......oh boy...its gonna be a huge panic
ReplyDeleteWith Cas human now it would make zero sense for them not to at least have more scenes of being in the same room.
ReplyDeleteSam defended Cas last episode so I will never understand the idea that Sam and Cas can't be friends.
ReplyDeleteI really hope the Supernatural world would be exposed to regular folks. Like in "The End" people knowing about the bad cause of Croatoan zombies. Different cause it's angels but still may make quite a mess on Earth if they somehow don't get reborn.
ReplyDeleteI guess the debate on whether Dean meant everything he said earlier in the season in the penny episode while under a spell can end. He repeated it all sober while Sam is supposedly weak and dying in an act of sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteNot hating on Dean here. Just the recent characterizations.
I agree w/you, but it has yet to happen. Sam is always taking up for Castiel w/Dean. He did it in S7 and in S8 but they still refuse to show Sam and Castiel bonding or talking on any level.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why that's the case, but that seems to be the case.
Yes, Sam didn't complete the trials, but he still had that story.
ReplyDeleteAgain, doesn't bother me much, but it bothered others.
Me, I'm too excited about future potential.
Unless there only was rainning angels where they were....and it didn't look that way...there's no way nobody saw that and pulled his phone out of his pocket to film.........it's gonna be a huge panic . Or at least the writers think about this cause it wouldn't be logic for nobody to see this
ReplyDeleteGood point. I can imagine the writers going for a loophole like that.
ReplyDelete100% agree people are never happy i guess chuck was right when he says "the fans always bitch" not that people aint free to there opoions but come on!!!!!!!!!! this was a final and yes there are questions but that's why it's called a cliffhanger
ReplyDeleteLOL, Sue. Pom pons? Hrmm!
ReplyDeleteIt's like you are reading my mind. The whole thing was pointless from the brother rift to the so-called quest. I could handle that if the standalones were awesome but not one episode hit it out of the park for me. Most of them didn't get past the batter's box.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the map in the Men of Letters hideout when the lights went crazy? Kevin saw red dots on the map. I assume the red dots are where angels landed, and they were all over the place.
ReplyDelete
