I agree!! I was so engrossed in the show that each segment between commercials went so quickly it felt like the damned things were airing every two minutes!!
It's a military strategy to destroy/burn the enemy's resources. Maybe calling it scorched earth on this show isn't the best use of the term since it will destroy everyone's resources as it will "set the Earth on fire''. I thought about it when Jane, the lady Rachel and Aaron encountered on their way to the tower, set those two guys on ''fire'' using the nanites. Literally boiling them from within, it was horrifying and probably foreshadowing.
The way Jane burned those men that had captured Aaron/Rachel, just stood out to me so much. It had to mean something than just showing off what the nanites can do. :)
In other words not only will the earth be burned alive but every one who breathed in the Nanites or has an implant like Rachel has.
Jane didn't really power up the lights the nanites basically short circuit causing them to burn but they again those soldiers were standing on a specific spot on the ground where it killed them but Rachel and Aaron were also close but didn't get killed
But if the pendants supply power with in a certain radius why can they turn on the power in level 12 without the pendants and is it possible the nanites can charge the sky creating a lighting storm which btw when they showed in the promo reminded me of Raiden from Mortal Kombat lol
True but when Rachel explained to Aaron that even if the slightiest surge of power was turned on the nanites would kill it instantly lol what is Randall really hiding and not telling anyone and is it possible Ben added a fail safe in case someone wants to turn the power but knowing it can burn the world in other words a program or key that overrides the nanites
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Holy shit, that was intense. A+ episode and I loved it. Definitely one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteIt was great all around, tbh. I didn't hate anything.

ReplyDeleteBrought the show to a whole new level. I got major "Through The Looking Glass" vibes. Best episode of the show and incredbly awesome.
ReplyDeleteScorched Earth, called it a while ago! :)
ReplyDeleteCare to elaborate?

Hopefully this clarifies it a bit more. :)
The second part of season is so intense and fast-paced! Love it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, really good and the best of the season so far.
ReplyDeleteI knew Neville will eventually take over the Monroe Republic for him.
Rachel and Monroe have particulary good moment to think about his attitude.
The action is so good, the eletromagnetic guns are so cool.
Miles badass like always and now time to kill Monroe :D
Can't wait to see the season finale.
Yes you did! Good job!

ReplyDeleteMe too! Can't wait for the next episode now!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great episode, the hour flew by!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow is it no one mentioned the joke Miles said when standing outside the chopper
ReplyDeleteMiles:"so it's just another Monday for us" the joke is Monday for Revolution was airing on Mondays lol

This remains science fiction after all, there are probably some rules to how they work that we haven't seen yet.

ReplyDeleteNot sure, could the nanites have stored all the energy they absorbed within them?
ReplyDeleteAs for the tower, didn't they mention it was somehow shielded against the blackout and had power all this time? :)
