  1. wow, Great ep Amanda really is one step ahead...what she did was Cold and set the stages for a great finale. The writing on this show is amazing.. this really has a series finale tone to it but thankfully there will be a season 4 to really wrap things up.

I only caused a minor injury to this show before it was renewed. I got it down to a reduced order though.

  3. Ahhhh! No! Nikita has to kill the President. If she does that she'll never get that pass, she'll have to always run. :(

Argh, Amanda needs to die so bad.

  4. Started slow at first but the last 15 minutes were amazing. Poor Nikita.

  5. Nikita is Amanda's bitch now…"Good girl". Haha Melinda Clarke is great. I enjoyed seeing more Sonya scenes, and her scenes with Alex. Nalex hug at the end:) Even though I couldn't help but think in that scene Amanda was laughing her evil ass off at Nikita. I normally have a lot to say...Can't wait for the finale.

  6. No, Amanda is my favorite villain. Percy was great, but Amanda is so much more cunning.

  7. Great episode with a twist in the end, delivered by the diabolical and devious Amanda. Melinda Clark gives a powerfull and wonderful perfomance and she deserves to be recognized for her role. I'm excited for the finale but also feel sad that its ending. Its such an underrated show and it deserves to stay on longer.

  8. Maggie's performance at the end of the episode killed me. I'm not ready for the finale, I'm not ready for the deaths .. I'm not okay right now.

  9. I agree with that! Percy is now 2nd.

  10. Awesome. Although I will openly admit that I'm entirely sick of Amanda ALWAYS thinking several steps ahead, predicting everything Team Nikita will do and playing them. There comes a point where it's not badass for a villain to do that, it's just ridiculous and far-fetched. It also makes the good guys look lame, that they can't ever get a victory. Silverstein has all but confirmed she doesn't die in the season finale and to me that's a mistake. The show needs a new villain (not that it matters much since the final season will be so short).
If I ignore Amanda's endless omniscience, the checkmate she delivered Nikita was actually pretty brilliant. Some people, upon seeing the season finale synopsis, said it's silly for Nikita to have to choose between her life and Michael's because she'd obviously rather die than kill him. However, the way Amanda has played this, what Nikita has to do to save Mikey is even worse than sacrificing herself: she has to assassinate the President, thus telling the whole world she's the monster she's tried so hard to convince herself she isn't. It makes perfect sense for this to be Amanda's final strike against Nikita because we know how much she hates people who pretend to be heroes when they aren't: that's why she killed her sister. Amanda thinks Nikita's goodness is a lie and all she wants is to expose it.

The song that played during that final sequence was also really eerie and appropriate. Great music choices on this show. And Maggie's acting, showing a heartbroken Nikita crumble and concede defeat in a way she never has before, was fantastic.

What else? I liked seeing Sonya get more to do (and finally another Birkhoff/Sonya kiss!). The return of the Gentleman, the English dude Percy approached in the end of last season, was a good nod to continuity - people have been asking all season when he/his group will resurface, and while it was predictable that The Shop would be this group, it's good to get confirmation. Great opening sequence with the car springing into life and nearly killing Nikita, and great alley fight between Nikita and Smith - badass move when she flipped him over. This was, unfortunately, another episode where I felt Alex was underutilized, but the idea of her becoming a special envoy for the U.N. and helping battle human trafficking is a wonderful one. After everything we've seen this season about Alex's survivor's guilt and determination to help others in the same predicament she was, what could be a better conclusion to her story?

I'm (obviously) excited as hell for the finale, but part of me is also worried because Nikita's finales are typically game-changing (like half of its episodes), and a possible 6-episode final season won't be enough to wrap up all the loose ends. Sam is still out there, taking down Amanda and The Shop is no simple task (especially after we've learned that The Shop is a global organization), and who knows what additional can of worms may be opened next week? I know the show's ratings mean we're lucky to even be getting a final season at all, but I'm still crossing my fingers for 10-13 episodes. Otherwise, the conclusion of the series is likely to be very rushed.
