  1. Epic Season finale, they left the door open to do some great things, there's no way they can wrap up this great series in just six episodes next season. Such Bs! I am looking forward to next season though.

  2. Only thing I didn't like is that Amanda is still kicking!

  3. Why isn't there a special status above awesome for just an episode like this? This was beyond awesome, this was totally epic!

  4. And I'm 100% sure that the people who vote bellow awesome, especially those who voted awful (SMH), haven't seen the episode at all and just come here to bash a show they hate with no reason and that they probably never gave a proper chance to show its worth and quality. Oh well, they are the ones missing on it.

  5. Or it was someone that did watch the episode and just didn't think it was awesome. I mean a person is entitled to that thing called an opinion. Just liked you're entitled to consider it "epic"

  6. Yes, but things also operate under reasonable probability. Even people who REALLY dislike an episode very rarely hate it so much that it deserves the lowest score. People who give something the lowest score or even the highest score aren't driven by the principles that dictate an honest opinion. Nothing is perfectly good and nothing is perfectly bad.

So yes, while people are entitled to their opinion, those opinions are often influenced by an outside source that has nothing to do with the thing they have an opinion on. Unfortunately, people arrive at hate a lot more often than they arrive at its opposite. That means it's far more likely that someone can hate the episode without ever having seen it than loving it without ever having seen it.

And considering that this is television, which has a worldwide viewership that has started more arguments online than politics, the odds are not in favor that the person who voted awful actually saw the episode and genuinely thinks it's awful. Not impossible mind you, just unlikely.

People are entitled to their opinion, but you don't know if it was an opinion anymore than he does.

  8. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but, unfortunately, it has come to the point where some people vote not based on opinions or reasonable judgement anymore, but only based on their hatred and disregard for the show just because.

  9. The CW Is complete Idiots thinking this show can be wraped up In 6 episodes.

  10. Please can they get rid of Amanda already! I wish they could have left it with them all together but that wouldn't be a Nikita worthy finale would it! Awesome episode, no doubt Nikita and Michael will get back together but I think they will probably have something Season 1 style where they are both somewhere and neither wants to shoot at the other. If the series doesn't end in a Mikita wedding then they will really let down a lot of fans! So next season they have to take down Amanda (preferably kill her or dump her somewhere) and get back Owen!

  11. Man, I was crying with Nikita when Michael was still flat-lined after so long. I knew they wouldn't kill him but at the same time I couldn't help worrying. Such relief when he started moving.

Lots to do next season with only 6 episodes. Jeez.

    - Kill Amanda
    - Clear Nikita's name (best way is them finding out the President is alive and rescuing her)
    - Getting Owen back
    - Nikita rejoins the group and she and Michael get back together

    Am I missing anything?

  12. Such and epic finale and the bittersweet feelings that I'm glad that we didn't end the series at this point as that would've sucked and the story will continue and have a chance to close the book, they will only get 6 eps to do so... and even though I'm confident at that the writers can do it, that they will have to cut out so much to do it and still give us a satisfying close, but like the rest of this awesome and under appreciated show, it will be one hell of a ride til we get there...

  13. The president give Nikita and the team president pardon sand Nikita/Michael marriage

    ReplyDelete
  14. I filed the pardon under "Clear Nikita's name". Forgot to write the rest of the group needs pardons too.

    And yes marriage!

  15. hopefully they clear Nikita name and rescue the president in first two episodes and work with the FBI or whatever to take down the shop and Amanda

  16. If someone who actually watched the show really thinks that, then I have little doubt they would explain why in the comments, not just make a poor or awful vote. I think it's more likely a troll who doesn't even watch the show and probably hasn't even registered to comment.

  17. Good finale. I'd have been happy with this season as the last season but I do want to see Alex as a diplomat.

  18. It was a amazing!! The CW are idiots for only giving this 6 more episodes

  19. I was buzzing when Nikita got another bad ass fight sequence. Seriously, that woman is unstoppable! Another brilliant season finale, opening up the doors to a new chapter. I'm so so annoyed about there being only 6 episodes. You cannot wrap up this fabulous show in 6 episodes.

  20. Amazing! i almost had a heart attack! it was so intense! and so glad Michael didn't die!

  21. "Unfortunately, people arrive at hate a lot more often than they arrive at its opposite. "
The fact that over 86% of the people voting here classfied the episode as "awesome" would tend to contradict that statement, don't you think? As for me, I loved the show throught the first two seasons, which explains my still looking in on sites like this. I haven't liked most of this season, though, and have come to the opinion that they should have ended the show after last season. They had a perfectly satisfying series finale there and they wasted it.

  22. great season finale!
so heartbraking, poor michael, that was even worse than seeing nikita saying farwell him!
Really Nikita, after all you have gone through together. Well, we need some drama.
Its sad the show will be cancelled but due to the bad ratings (whic I don't understand), I am very happy that they are giving us an extra 6 episodes.

  23. IGN said "late fall". There seem to be contradictory reports, as usual.

  26. I love this season, only reason I would wish it had ended with the Season 2 finale is that Sean was still alive then. My only issue this season.

I feel like there was too many open story lines for it to end with S2. Amanda was out there plotting revenge, Division was still running, and everyone was still in the life.

  27. I'm a broken record on this but I don't get why it couldn't have been 10 episodes, like Gossip Girl's final season. Even with the ratings being as low as they are, how much difference can it make in terms of cost to order just a few additional episodes? And I'm sure The WB was offering them to the network at a low license fee, since they want as many episodes as possible for syndication and whatnot.

I'm okay with S4 being the last season (it's actually a good thing because it seems the show is coming to a natural conclusion) and even with a shortened season, but 6 is *too* short for a proper ending. Of course it's heaps better than being cancelled with no ending (and I'm not taking that for granted), but I wish they could've given us those extra few episodes to make it a great ending.

  28. I agree, they got me with Michael's near-death scene. I was pretty sure Michael and Alex were both untouchable until the series finale, but when Michael was flat-lined for so long and the sad music kicked in, I was genuinely on the edge of my seat as to whether or not he'd survive. Very well done.

  29. It was a great season finale!
If it ended 5 minutes before, it definitely felt like a series finale.
Going to miss this show ;(

  30. Mind. Blown.

This episode was the cornucopia of stunning, breath-taking moments: faux-President killing herself (I knew Nikita wouldn't do it because of The CW's stupid spoilery press release, but I didn't expect THIS); Nikita's epic and unbelievably badass burst through the Division doors before taking down the remaining Dirty 30 and saving her friends; Michael very nearly dying, with Maggie's amazing performance - as much as I was sure he and Alex were safe until the series finale, they seriously got me to believe he was a goner with the sad music and him flatlining for so long; Division finally being blown to pieces, which was such a hallmark for the series as well as beautifully filmed; and finally, the reveal that the real President is alive + Nikita running off because she didn't want the others to get hurt while trying to clear her name. A truly incredible finale.

Unfortunately, even while I was watching, I couldn't help thinking about what the future holds for the show. The Shop's plans are obviously quite intricate - why did they need to keep the President alive, but make everyone believe she was assassinated by Nikita? Also, there's still the issue of the Pryon (sp?) device Nikita and Michael stole for The Shop in 3x16 - I assume it has to do with releasing a virus or something, but we need to know why The Shop wanted it. The writers have a mere 6 episodes to explain The Shop's plans and have Team Nikita take down both The Shop & Amanda AND clear Nikita's name. I'm not even talking about stuff like a resolution to Owen/Sam's story, Alex finding her path in life, Nikita/Michael's future...

I know that given the ratings, we're lucky the show wasn't cancelled outright, but I wish they could have just given them a few additional episodes - it couldn't have been a big difference in cost. Even 10 episodes, like Gossip Girl got for its final season, could have been enough. But with 6, I can't help but feel that no matter how good the writers are, they're going to have to craft an extremely rushed and unsatisfying season to wrap everything up. It's too bad.
